WARNING!!! WARNING!!! WARNING!!! Be REALLY careful. No doubt as far as the food goes, it’s my favorite Italian restaurant and the portion sizes are humongous and second to none. However, I paid for my meal with a cc, left tip in cash. I do that all the time and draw a straight line from top to bottom to prevent someone from filling it in.
But!!! Someone later on altered the receipt and filled in a NINE DOLLAR tip over my line!!! I reported it to manager, he found the receipt, saw my line, told me they wrote over it and he refunded the EXACT amount….like to the ridiculous penny!!! $8.48??? I mean, I just caught someone STEALING from ME, and you’re worried about pulling out a freaking calculator (I could hear him in the background) to figure out the EXACT amount!!!
They should’ve not only refunded me the money but offered me a free meal, seeing as, you know, someone STOLE MONEY FROM ME!!!!
My BIGGEST concern was his nonchalant attitude about the entire thing. He was acting as if I called in to place a to go order. He wasn’t concerned, he wasn’t upset, he didn’t apologize profusely or anything, he just said yes you’re right here you go, as if he does this 10 times a day. That in and of itself is so utterly and ridiculously suspicious I don’t even know what to say except I’m thinking of letting the authorities know what took place!
This could be a huge scam and could’ve happened to many more customers!!! He “should” have been nicer and given me an extra $10 or something considering that basically someone STOLE from me!!!! Not...
Read moreStarting with the food the bread was entirely way too cold. I had the chicken parmigiana with ziti and the ziti sauce was really watered down along with undercooked ziti noodles. Moving onto service, the lady that was serving us had almost 2” acrylic nails with gems glued all over them. I’m pretty sure this is some sort of food code regulation and I worry gems can fall off into food, etc. Service was nothing to rave about as she was not very welcoming and made us feel more like an inconvenience. Now I’ll start off by saying that I love dogs and I have one. But to bring one to an indoor only restaurant is simply ridiculous. The fact that our same server allowed this young couple to sit indoors with a long haired Pomeranian is wild to me. This dog was not only roaming the table below them but was being handed back and forth OVER the table and food. To add insult to injury the dog shakes on the floor and hair went EVERYWHERE. Mind you we were the table right next to them. Our food was already on our table and we were trying to ignore this entire situation by trying to get out of there. The server seemed to know this couple and the fact that she or other employees allowed this is beyond me. I’ve visited before and have called in pizza pretty often but after this I don’t think I can ever visit again. I’m beyond disappointed at the lack of cleanliness and allowing these...
Read moreThis is one of those places you go to on a regular basis , if you want to feel like you are part of a family. ❤️
We eat here monthly with our 3 kids , & its not because the food is delicious, well priced, and in huge portions (because it is). It's not because we miss our north east easily accessible italian food (because we do).
It's because the regular server they have , who knows nothing more about us other than we come in there with 3 wild kids every so often, has a heart of gold.
We came in tonight - after a really stressful week , . A 7 year old in two leg casts (1 week after achilles tendon surgery), a 3 year old who is wild as always , and our ten month old was NOT in the mood for ANYTHING, by the time our food came out. The restaurant had slowed down, and Kayla came in to scoop him up and calm him down while we cut up the other kids food and started eating. She had NO clue neither of us had gotten a chance to eat today because we'd been so busy with kids, errands and the 8 days worth of laundry that was consuming the upstairs of our house before we ventured out for some pizza. She had no clue how TIRED we were and how much her act of kindness really meant to us.
To all the reviewers here complaining about the service, I feel bad for you and your inability to appreciate this place and these people for exactly...
