Pho No 1 — Restaurant in North Charleston

If I could give a 0, it would be a 0. The lady took our orders. We sat there for 40 minutes and our food never came. There were people who came after us who got their food before we did. Then I had to ask when is our food coming. She said let her go check. She then came back and asked us what we ordered. I asked her “so you did not even put in our orders?” She said no and asked If we wanted to order to go instead! This was after we’ve been sitting there for 40 minutes! What kind of a person would waste someone else’s time like this without any acknowledgment of wrongdoing or apologies. We were very hungry and to be treated this way is just beyond anything I have ever experienced. The service was beyond unprofessional especially we waited patiently. Please save your time and money! It tells you a lot about the person and establishment when they treat others this way. We ended up going to Pho 79 instead where the service and food...

Fantastic pho, a variety of noodles, and other Asian dishes. Small shop with a relatively wide variety of options available. Dishes were served with a side of fresh spices and garnishes to fix the meal to your taste.

Ordered the duck and beef pho. Broth was high quality and rich in both dishes, portions were very good. The beef in particular, was very tender.

I saw some reviews claiming that the service was slow. I admit that the waitress was distracted, talking on the phone through her earbuds, which resulted in a wrong drink order. That said, I started a stop watch once our order was in and the food arrived in less than 7 minutes.

My go to spot to stock up on my Asian sauces and ingredients. I was super hungry and didn’t realize there was a small pho place in the corner. It was kinda busy that day and I was able to snag a seat, but it seemed like there’s always one lady that works there and she takes your order when you seat yourself so it took some time. I ordered the rare beef and brisket pho which came out fairly quick. The flavors were on point, tasted authentic and my only complaint was that I wish I had more broth because the ratio was a little off between noodles to broth.
