Hidden away in a pseudo stripmall sandwiched between a walmart and Ford dealership, this colorfully decorated Mexican restaurant offers a now standard "to be expected Hispanic restaurant experience". Nothing wrong here. Greeted at the door by friendly culturally appropriate friendly younger men and escorted to a very colorfully decorated patio I was offered the traditional warm daily cooked chips and salsa, a very large flagon of Dos Equis. I had 2+ hours to kill waiting for tire replacement and no pressure was given to hurry me through the dining experience. An extensive menu so large at first viewing, if you are looking for it, it has to be offered. Average price per meal 15$. Big mug beer 9$, so 50$ minimum out the door for 2 folks is a reasonable expectation. There are so many offerings that it was a dice roll for choice. Most lunch specials under 10$. So many offerings, I couldn't choose, so asked the manager to offer a suggestion and we decided on the Bistec Mexicano, ribeye, onions, tomatoes & jalapenos. Guacamole salad, rice with corn tortillas. Manager Jose Baltazar was extremely helpful. Even with this extensive of a menu they are willing and able to create a lunch or dinner to one's specific requirements. If you can dream it up they can create it. They also offer a free lunch card 5th one free. One can't go wrong here. Asked for side of hot salsa and was not disappointed. Shout out to my server was Jose Alberto. It's all about the sauces. Their home made salsas are awesome. So, as for a bit of negative,....i would have preferred the ribeye chunks more medium rare, but to be honest I didn't request it that way. Overall opinion, I will be returning. Very pleased with the service and the food.

Roberto is the rudest, most untrustworthy person I’ve ever come in contact with here. He manipulates the owners and staff and is a complete detriment to this fine establishment. He’s negative, spiteful, obnoxious, arrogant, disrespectful, self serving and has no place in this group of hard working, trustworthy, honest people. He’s singlehandedly destroying the reputation of this amazing restaurant. I stopped going to my favorite place because of his lack of respect for himself, the owners, workers and customers. Until he leaves I won’t be frequenting this location. I will gladly return when he’s gone. The restaurant is clean, comfortable, colorful and welcoming with its vibrant color scheme on the tables, chairs, themed walls decorative rooms and neon bar. The humble staff works hard, are well dressed, give prompt, efficient service, keep the front of house spotless. Floors, tables and restrooms are clean and spacious. It’s such a shame that a rotten apple like Roberto can spoil the whole bunch. I look forward to returning to this representation of Mexican heritage, culture and cuisine. Not while Roberto es malo is still employed there!

As far as Mexican restaurants are concerned Summerville SC hosts its fair share. But IMHO Senor Tequila is hands down the best restaurant of its kind in the low country. From the fantastic staff to one of the best margaritas I have ever had, Senor Tequila's ambiance and meal options can not be beat. Fresh inhouse made salsa and chips with a side of Chori-Queso and two Coronaritas (margarita with a 7oz Corona upended in the glass) to start, followed by an order of Chicken Con Mole and Tachitos Mexicanos and another Coronarita to finish made for an outstanding meal that only put me back 80$+20$ tip. I personally wasn't a fan of the Tachitos, i thoroughly enjoyed the Con Mole. I tacoed the Mole with lettuce, tomato, sour cream, salsa, guacamole, and cheese. A definite TBO. They also have lots of inside and outside seating, as well as plenty of parking. If you find yourself in Summerville and in the mood for Mexican food head to Dorchester and Ladson .

Senior tequila is always busy. You never leave there feeling hungry, going in yes leaving no.the staff is friendly .the food there one of the better places in town and there are only few in the summerville kingsville areas that you can say the same about .some places have mass production that they let their flavoring go out the door during prep of the food and you can't help but feel that ,they don't care about their food anymore just the bottom dollar from mass production and sales .If they would only realize that the better the food is will keep the customers coming back and the sales will also get better.went and picked up an order from here was on time and the didn't have one of my items made yet .Due to confusing wording on website but when we got the order home the whole meal for us was STONE COLD never happens from here !It's like the foe got to heat the meal before putting in the bags.another case of mass production prep and being busy ;not paying closer to the individual orders to take care of each customer !pay closer attention to every order .There is a such thing as fast and productive but still having customer care and to have a meal that looks and tastes good .not sloppy presentation or cold ,or flavorless food !Senior tequila is not the only restaurant that is to...
