So, this place “used to be” a great place to go if /when you wanted that comfort, satisfying soup (for this I give it 3 stars) however, since the pandemic, things have changed. I consider myself a regular supporter of this business, however, after today , I am done!!!!!!! The soup now constantly lacks chicken and other essential Proteins. My parents are elderly and I try to bring them the lemon chicken orzo soup that’s offered on Tuesday’s. Lately, this particular soup has been very skimpy on the the chicken. I’ve even ordered it ahead of time (offering to pay extra for a reasonable amount of chicken in the soup (not too much to ask). Today, my dad had a bad day & I decided to surprise him with the lemon chicken orzo soup. As I went through the line, I could tell that the pot of soup was clearly at the bottom of the barrel. I politely asked the young blond girl (who was serving) if she could make sure that there was some chicken in the soup. She rudely snapped at me saying “there’s chicken in it!” . Honestly, I try to support local businesses, but you have lost my business. I will make my own damn soup of go to Joe’s down the street. Thanks so much for “ not”appreciating my loyalty. Some people ask “where’s the beef?” My question is “where's the chicken?” But more importantly, where’s the kindnesses and willingness to...

Today I ordered a Greek salad. I paid extra to have chicken on said salad. When I received my Greek salad, there was no feta on the salad, and no chicken. When I called, they said I could come pick up a new salad or get a $4.99 refund. I asked for the refund. I was told it may take a day or two. I checked this afternoon, and there was no refund for $4.99, but there was an additional charge of $13.02. I called Seacoast Soups back and explained the situation. The young woman who answered the phone said that it was a refund. They only charged me for the dessert I ordered. I told her if it were a refund, it would show that on my card. She said, "Well, we show it as a refund here. You should call your credit card company and have them fix it."
Well, we are currently on the phone with our credit card company because, in fact, it is an additional charge. So, not only was I charged for a salad I didn't order, but I still will not get a refund for the mess up on their end. Times two.
This is not the first time a mistake has been made on an order by Seacoast Soups. We are a local business that frequents their store often, but are a little leery at this point.

Read moreDid not want to post a negative review, but got no response from my email directly to the restaurant:
Hi there,
This is the mom of the 3.5 year old boy who has a swallowing disorder and threw up in your restaurant today at lunch. I'd like to give some feedback on what is helpful and not helpful to a mother or any customer in this situation, should it happen again.
Helpful (none of which were done by the woman in the kitchen): Ask how you can help Grab a container and something to wipe up with Express concern for the child throwing up Be kind
Unhelpful (all of which were done by the same woman): Ask the child who is actively throwing up to walk through the entire restaurant to the restroom, including walking past every customer, the soup table, and both register lines (we were sitting in the booth by the kitchen) Give disgusted looks Be rude and essentially kick us out when we were trying to pick up after ourselves and exit as quickly as possible anyway
Trying to take the high road with a direct email instead of a negative...
