The Juice Box — Restaurant in North Hampton

A certain family member of mine is a fan of smoothies and The Juice Box is pretty convenient for me to pick up from. While expensive (close to $10 for a featured smoothie with almond butter) the value proposition exists, and it’s not out of line with market pricing at other establishments. The product is decent at a bit of a premium price but this is a luxury commodity.

What I am critical of is the order process. While phone, online and in-person are options, more than once I’ve had my phone order either mangled or simply lost. Even more irritating is the fact there is a wait in a single line to pick up my order despite calling ahead, completely defeating the purpose of advance ordering. There really should be separate windows for ordering and pickup to expedite things for everyone and minimize social contact because people just mill about close to the window awaiting their order.

Another bothersome thing is the payment process. Everyone gets to touch the same mobile credit card machine simply to add (or not) a tip. Really should be contactless and if the girls want to earn a tip I’d expect a level of service beyond taking and fulfilling an order.

So I’ll just get a $300 professional blender and make my own...

Ordered a sunset açaí bowl, have gotten them here in the past and they are great. My husband picked it up this time. It was in a small plastic bowl with one strawberry and 6 mushed slices of a banana and a little granola (not even a tablespoon)and a little açaí, looks more like a snack. It was a joke, I thought he went somewhere different, he said no, same place. Its Completely not the same as in the past. It cost 11.00 something and definitely NOT worth it. I would’ve handed it back immediately if I was the one there. This was my favorite place but this is ridiculous for what it cost. Very disappointed especially since there are so many things I can’t eat and this is something I can and look forward to when I get it, not...

I don't know what I’d do without my local daily haunt, The Juice Box. Their smoothies are all delicious and made with healthy ingredients. ( My personal favorite is the Kaley Slater..) Everything I have ordered off their menu is beautifully prepared and refreshing. I love to eat clean, and The Juice Box is the one place I go and count on for healthy food while on the road
