A few weeks ago I came to this store to pickup an Uber Eats delivery order. I'm a 40 year resident of Las Vegas senior citizen who is making ends meet by doing deliveries. The manager at this location was rude and unprofessional towards me and accused me of harassing his staff inquiring about if my order was ready, when in fact they asked me if I needed help not the other way around.
This man eventually brought me my order and proceeded to tell me that, "I would never pick up an order at this Denny's again and accused me of harassing his staff." He yelled this in the middle of the restaurant and created a scene, no doubt disturbing the few customers enjoying their meals and making me regret ever taking this order.
As a delivery driver who is paid per delivery there are plenty of stresses with the job, traffic, food issues, busy over crowded or understaffed restaurants, etc but this man's uncalled for and unnecessary tirade simply added to an already challenging work environment.
As a delivery driver I take my job very seriously and I believe I provide an essential service to those who are unable or unwilling to travel for a meal. My service helps the business in achieving sales that they would otherwise have not gotten. I hope this man who treated my so rudely some day realizes how important it is to treat the people you work with with respect and understanding. I mean, everyone is entitled to a bad day but yelling and threatening someone for simply doing their job is crossing a line.
I can not attest to the quality of the food, servers or cooks at this particular Denny's but I do know how important atmosphere is to having a good dinning experience and in that respect this restaurant failed miserably that day. Fortunately I have the option of selecting which orders I take as an Uber delivery driver and I will not be taking orders from this particular Denny's...
Read moreMy name is Robert Velez and I’ve lived in Las Vegas since 2009. I’ve experienced a lot of restaurants throughout that time. Today, at Denny’s off of north Graig and Valley location a server by the name of Dennis Valdez really made my day. All he did was his job and provided me with excellent costumer service. I make it sound like that’s what servers are suppose to do right. No, they are but lately service at all establishments not just Dennys have lacked with customer service. Businesses are hurting with inflation now a days and the last thing they need are upset customers because of service. Dennis was excellent and outstanding to the Denny’s franchise. He is a valid team member of this organization and should be cherished. I mean that because in 5 star restaurants they lack service. I told his manager today 6-4-2003 how good his server was with not only me but the people around me, I watched him treat everyone the same way he treated me. I did not need to ask for extra napkins, I did not have to ask him for a refill, and I did not have to ask him if my meal and everything was ok because he was attentive. I gave him a $20.00 tip and that’s not a lot however the cost of the meal was about $30.00 in total. He made me think about how my experiences have been throughout the years and how many establishments lack this main quality of why people don’t return to these restaurants. Lack of customer service…. Well, I understand it’s just Denny’s but if you want excellent service and someone to treat you well and make you feel good then check of Dennis Valdez over at north Graig and Valley and ask to be served by this young man. He get 5 ⭐️’s and a 2 👍🏽’s up! Good job Dennis and keep up that attitude and qualify of a human you are. You can go so far up the later and actually belong to an establishment that their server make $300 to $500...
Read moreI wanted to get my mom out after her appointment and stopped at Denny's as it's her favorite restaurant. We went to the one on Ann and Simmons and encountered a horrible experience causing us to leave and come to this store on Craig. Upon entering the store we were immediately greeted by hostess Ms. Lourdes. She was very polite greeted us with a smile and even suggested the Bogo special. She looked around for available seating and noticed that what was available was in the very back. Instead of just seating us She asked if the booth would be ok. I absolutely loved that. Once seated our server Dennis greeted the table within a minute of being sat. He had the warmest smile, the most gentle tone and pleasant attitude. He took our order right away and when repeating it he had everything down to the T as I had a complicated order with all the alternatives. I asked him if I could speak with his manager to which he stated "I'll get him right away" not knowing if I would complain about him. The manager Adan arrived to the table promptly and asked if everything was fine. I explained to him that I had an issue at another store and wondered if he could help me with getting the corporate number. Adan apolozied on behalf of that store even though it had nothing to do with him. From the moment we walked in this door until the time we left the energy, service and everything in between was nothing short of phenomenal. Thank you Adan, Dennis and Ms. Lourdes for making our bad experience into a much more amazing one. These three need to be recognized amongst their peers as they...
