Kusina Ni Lorraine — Restaurant in North Las Vegas

I've visited this store/restaurant a few times and unfortunately, I always seem to visit when I already ate, therefore, I never had the opportunity to try everything this place has to offer. Whenever I visit this store, it's because I just happen to be in the area (same plaza) it's in. Most recently, I brought my daughter to this store to show her around and to pass the time because we were using the laundromat in the same plaza.

It was rather difficult to just walk through the store without purchasing any food from their restaurant, but I still managed to do so (don't judge me). For this visit, I only got a small order of sisig because I enjoyed that entrée and I wanted my daughter to try it. Needless to say, the sisig wasn't as appetizing as when I got it here the first time. The temperature was between cold and room temperature which wasn't satisfying at all. Also, it was kind of old because the pork wasn't as crispy as I remembered. However, the flavor itself was still adequate - the chopped veggies mixed in always compliments the pork and adds great balance of flavors for the entire dish.

Of notable mention, the sisig and pancit during my initial visit to this store/restaurant was remarkable. In fact, this restaurant is the first place that I tried sisig...so since this visit, I was hooked. During that initial visit, I recall hearing one of the employees telling a customer that the sisig was almost sold out so I knew this was a popular item here. And after trying it for the first time, I could see why this was such a hot commodity.

Overall, I enjoy coming here whenever I'm in the area. I honestly can't imagine seeing myself making a special visit to this store/restaurant since there are many sit-down Filipino restaurants in this city. The employees are very friendly and the prices are reasonable. If you haven't been here before, I do recommend you visit at least once and try their food or purchase something from...

It's been awhile since we last visited Lorraine and today's experience was disappointing. The manang who opened today took our order and was not friendly at all. Our only mistake is we forgot to order a drink which she could've offer but chose not to. And so I took one drink and will just pay after the meal. When it was time for me to pay that one drink SHE REFUSED because that drink ONLY costs 1.99$

I only have apple pay that time and have no cash. I'm so confused because there was no problem paying my meal earlier and she wanted me to purchase 10$ minimum at least. I said no and just wanted to purchase that one drink and go.

If I'm being a douchebag I would've just leave and not pay that 1.99$ drink but I wasn't raised like that so for me trying to pay and be treated I need to pay at least 10$ when I already purchase my meal is a big no. I have never seen a POS machine operate like that. No other restaurants with POS had minimum purchase ever. She could've easily punch whatever for the same value and...

I ordered in advance , trays of food for my July 4th party . I usually eat or take out food here 2-3x a week. The chefs are great and the servers are helpful, polite and friendly. However, the catering side of their business was very bad. The food tray by bulk turned out disappointing , the pancit tray was all noodles with barely any meat or veggies, it was just on top. The beef caldereta tray was mostly fat pieces and if there were beef pieces, the meat used was tough. I paid $300+ for Filipino food trays that was just below average quality. I understand about making a profit but this was beyond disappointing. I had guests from CA to my home in Vegas to visit for the first time, and it was embarrassing to say the least!
