I have lived here for around 5 months and this is the worst place I have eaten at in Vegas. Dinner started with what I expected to be chips and salsa that was actually 4 packs of saltines, 4 hard round tostada shells and watery, tasteless salsa. Didn't even break the shells to make them resemble chips. Also drinks, the wife's diet Coke came in a can, ok no biggie. My water came not in a glass or to-go type cup, but in a plastic takeout tub that you might house your egg drop soup from your favorite Chinese food delivery, but without the lid. The wife ordered fajitas and I ordered fried shrimp. Her fajitas veggies were basically uncooked and neither the meat nor the veggies tasted seasoned at all, to the point that the chicken tasted boiled. My fried shrimp was also not great. Hard overcooked seafood that could easily be frozen grocery store breaded shrimp that was hard and super chewy and woefully lacking in quantity. The plate was served with rice and beans, which were good, and a side salad. The curious part sits between the shrimp and salad on the plate. A probably 4oz tub of mayonnaise? For what, the salad or the shrimp? I was interested in using it for neither so I had neither salad dressing nor tartar or cocktail sauce for the shrimp. 2 dinners, 1 drink that you would expect to pay around $35 MAX for. Food quality that is maybe worth $20. And a bill of $61. Added note: The establishment wasn't super busy or dead, there was about 5 tables occupied other than ours. At least our waitress was nice. Take a pass...
Read moreThis can be a very fun place to go it is somewhere that you would want to go if you are drinking alcohol and want to hear loud music. If it is for a birthday party, pregame before you go out, or some sort of celebration where you're planning on doing shots absolutely great. Just be aware of that if you are planning on going. If you are looking to go to somewhere just for the food and to have a good dinner conversation, this is not the best place because it is extraordinarily loud. It is deafeningly loud. I couldn't hear the person who was sitting next to me talking one foot away. By the time I left I had a headache. The Mariachi bands there works on tips they will play songs by request, and the servers work hard and do a really good job. The food is very expensive for Mexican food at the absolute top end of the spectrum. I don't think the food is quite worth it I would say it is about a seven on the scale as far as Mexican food goes in the city but it is priced as though it is a 9 or 10. There are better choices if you're just looking for really good Mexican food. Overall though if this is the environment you are looking for, drinking mariachi band, lots of action, then this is a fun place to go. I have been here...
Read morePossibly the worst experience I’ve had at a restaurant in Vegas. I absolutely love seafood so this was really disappointing. Food was over cooked and being that it’s a restaurant specializing in seafood this is basic knowledge to employees as well as customers who eat seafood regularly. I had a rather large group of people and no ones food came out together. I also ordered a carne asada plate and was told I would have to wait longer because those items take longer since it’s meat. When I received my food it was cold and look like it was an old piece of meat they poorly reheated. Since no one received they’re food together we had to cancel a couple items and were still being charged. When we asked to speak with a manager the staff seemed really bothered as well as the manager because he refused to speak with us. Come to find out the manager is the owner. Only reason 1 star was given was because I had to in order to leave a review. Really sucks to hear so many good things about this place and even read good comments just to find the complete opposite. Shout out to Mr. Guadalupe for this unforgettable experience at his...
