Don’t Expect ! This location does not allow you to put oil on the Tuna sandwich even if requested or paid for. Expect an argumentative employee to tell you absolutely Not! They would rather give a refund, than give you the sandwich the way you prefer it! Go to subway - Go to Jersey Mikes for your Tuna with oil sandwiches. Complained to Corporate and they stand behind the denial of oil on the sandwiches. Stated it’s due to shortages. Bit also that it’s only for meat sandwiches. Which is false. Every day tuna is canned in water and oil. Frankly in my opinion, the only way to eat tuna is with oil. You might think that a sandwich shop such as Jimmy John’s would understand and know the art and design of the sandwich and the customer experience but they don’t. I also went and designed a sandwich on the website and it allows you to build this sandwich this way I desired. Corporate was very generous and offering me a $2 off coupon for my complaint! Honestly, it made me laugh because they did not care about the customer experience one bit. I didn’t want any money. I just wanted the problem to be taken care of. I’ve been eating at JJ’s for 20+ years probably and I always order the tuna with oil at other local JJ shops. To just disregard your customer is a huge no-no. What a letdown. Like I stated to the corporate executive that responded to my complaint, I hope when you go to order food at the counter somewhere that they tell you, you cannot have what you have ordered, when you know for a fact, that you can! I hope that an angry hopped up sandwich maker somewhere treats you the same way that I’ve been treated in the North Liberty JJ’s. In a line filled with people, becoming a dishonored customer, looking like you are the one in the wrong. And when it happens, I hope you think of the guy that didn’t get the oil he requested. Done No Thanks JJ’s...
Read moreUnless you are ordering ahead of time and taking out, I'd skip going to this location. I was rudely asked if I was 'picking up my order' by a young woman, who then responded 'oh, it's okay,' after I told her I was ordering in person. After I placed my order, she told me, 'have a good one.' My order was ready and nobody called it out. When I asked if the sandwich was the Cubano, the oldest person working said, 'order #13,' as if they'd given me an order #. I grabbed my sandwich and was told, 'have a good one,' a second time by the same woman. I sat down to eat, and over time found that the employees make loud noises with the containers, shout, and basically make it sound like a high school gymnasium in the place. I decided to gather my unfinished food and leave and on my way out was told 'have a good one' a third time by the same woman. I won't be going back there, again. What...
Read moreIf I could give a negative rating I would. This is the first time my wife and I had jimmy John's. It is hands down the absolute worst sub we have ever had and the chips had virtually no bbq flavor as well as seemed to be stale, the best part of our order was the cookie which isnt saying much as it wasnt very good either. Not to mention it is massively overpriced, we each got an 8 inch sub, a bag of chips and a cookie, $29.00 is about $20.00 to much considering how awful all of the food was and that it took 45 minutes to deliver our order about 1 mile. We can get 2 foot long subs at subway packed with everything we want and toasted for about $20.00 we will stick with subway since their prices are better and so is the food. Our first and last time ever eating...
