Hunan Palace Express — Restaurant in North Little Rock

First time at this place, it's not in the best of neighborhood, but at least it's down the street from the road from the highway. The customer service wasn't the best, they were a little rude when taking my order. I ordered vegetable egg foo young, only thing about egg foo young is the amount of sauce they put on it, in that small container, if you're not careful you will have sauce everywhere. The egg foo young was pretty good, and wasn't to expensive, about as much as your average Chinese food restaurant around. I was able to save some for later. I don’t know if they were having an off day. I see this company has decent reviews,but I tried them and I will never go back there. Grumpy and impersonal employees and then extended wait time. 12 minutes and more dollars than it will ever be worth later, which is perfectly acceptable if I’m getting quality food, but to get doughy ,under done egg rolls, excessively chewy gizzards( yes I know gizzards are chewy)and rice it taste like cardboard. This place is exactly what I’m looking for when it comes to Chinese. Doesn’t look that great on the outside but the food is always fresh. It affordable and they have a drive thru.
