Larry's Pizza of NLR — Restaurant in North Little Rock

My sister a few years ago told me about a pizza restaurant on JFK that I had never been to. Larry's Pizza is the name and it is now my favorite pizza Restaurant. Now, Since the corona virus pandemic is going on, I have introduced my 71 year old mom whom just had a taste for pizza today and of course off we went to Larry's Pizza per her request and that was her 3 visit. She loves it just like I do and they always so far fix her pizza the way she requests and the service is always great too. As most of you know, sometimes that is not the case and then you have to deal with attitudes when they don't get your order right. I believe it's the manger we have spoken to in drive-thur a few times and today he even acknowledged that he has seen us lately before and was glad to see us back again. He even let us know after i ask about how refills work since we can not come in to eat since we sit in the parking lot and enjoy our meal that if we come back thur drive-thur, he would just give us a free refill(we did not need one). That's excellent service and he and the other employees are always so nice and pleasant. Oh, and one last thing. 2 years ago, my sister was in the hospital for the 3rd year in a row at St Vincent's in November. I needed a break so she told me to go get something to eat and get away from the hospital for a few hours. I left St Vincent's hospital, had the lunch buffet they have on Saturdays and only went to the buffet just once. What i did not eat, i wanted to take with me even though i knew the buffet is only for the inside. I got up the nerves to ask an employee whom then checked with a manger. He came to my table, i explained why, he said sure and stated he was going to get a to go container for me to take my food with me and even asked if i need anything else. That was so Generous and Beyond the Call of Duty. I so needed that break and I had a great meal and again, EXCELLENT SERVICE. If you have not tried Larry's Pizza, Please Do So. So I visited this location yesterday and might I say this was the best dining experience I've ever had at ANY resturant. Let me start by saying I left my house running errands at 7 am and entered this location at after 6pm and hadnt eaten all day. The parking lot was full and the place was packed. I hope I remember these names correctly but it started out with Corey. I think he might have been the manager but he was helping and working just as hard as the crew. He greated us in the paying line to ask us how many were in our party. After paying we didnt have to circle the super crowded resturant in search for seating because Corey had already found an open seat and walked us to it. There were 2 servers that really stood out. Grace and Spenser. They paid special attention and had conversations with my 8 year old son who had had a pretty rough day. Spenser seemed extra happy to be an employee here. He was very polite and always had a natural smile. The whole staff worked well and seemed to have a comfortable relationship. Mark also went out of his way to make sure we had pizza we requested once they started backing up at the window. Everyone worked well together, was pleasant, and I didnt have one cold, sloppy, or inproperly prepared food item while I was there. What I saw yesterday at this location was a model example of great customer interaction/service and how a resturant...

Today service was horrible. Got here at 12:41 asked for a pepperoni and bacon. It's now 30 minutes passed since I asked for it. Asked for a beef pizza 20 minutes later. Still have not gotten it yet. I should have followed my first mind. And went to Bowman one. This is just ridiculous. When asked the young man. He told me they had the board full with pizza. Finally went up there spoke to the manager. As I'm walking off I heard him calling back the pizza. I requested over 30 minutes ago. Clearly he never called the pizza back. Let see will it be another 30 before the beef pizza comes out. I definitely will not be back here. And it's a shame that the service was poor. I asked for a chicken fajita. Only to be told they don't do request after 1:30. When it took damn near 45 minutes for me to receive the pizza I requested. Pine Bluff lost me as a customer. Now JFK...
