The staff is super helpful, educated, and patient! They carry high quality food that my cats love! The first time I was there, I was hesitant to get the 10lb bag in case my cats didn't like it, given how expensive it is (less expensive that the prescription food from my vet tho!), but I live in Hot Springs and didn't want to have to drive back up in a week if they did love it. They reassured me that if they didn't like it, I could bring it back for a refund. Happily they love it! One of my cats it diabetic, the other has FIV with chronic respiratory infections. They'd been on the Hill's Science Diet Diatetic Management, but the ingredients are garbage for what I was paying. I switched them to Orijen, and my FIV's respiratory issues have gotten MUCH better (not 100%, but he no longer sounds like he's drowning in phlegm), and the diabetic is more energetic! He has an appointment to get his glucose checked soon, so we'll see how it works out there. Been a customer here since June and have spent over $300 here if not more. The product is genuine and the staff is nice but they will always lead you to the most expensive inventory item they have. I recently purchased 3 bags of dogfood on a buy 2 get 1 free special. I came into the store and asked if I could exchange two bags that were the exact same value for a different flavor (same brand). I was told yes, I even confirmed with staff that the bags cost the same. Get to the counter to do the exchange and now they want me to pay the difference for the 3rd bag... Literately the only thing I wanted to change was the flavor. I had already bought the 2 bags required for the special. I was not returning anything, in fact I was buying MORE stuff from their inventory, but was told that now the special has ended that I would have to now buy the 3rd bag if I wanted to change simply change flavors... Who in their right mind would pay for a bag of dogfood they already own? I will no longer be...

The store is nice and has a good selection of stuff. I really liked using the private wash rooms to bathe your dog too. I just always felt like I was more of an annoyance than anything to the employees though. One girl asked me if I needed any help once but never stopped walking away from me. Another answered a question but walked away immediately after. I called up there last night to get their closing time and it was within 30 minutes. I told the girl that answered the phone I was gonna try to make it for a bag of food and she responded “ok” but it wasn’t like an excited “ok come on in” kind of response, she sounded more annoyed and like she really wish I wouldn’t.

I don’t know if I did or said anything wrong at some point but that’s just my experience. I’ll probably just start going somewhere else. I hate feeling like I just annoy or...
