Shark’s Fish & Chicken. — Restaurant in North Little Rock

I felt as if it was going to be a fiasco when the fella working the speaker welcomed me to Sonic and asked me for my order - just kids in there playing around. I ignored this, and placed my order. I asked for cocktail sauce, and he asked "what kind?" Ugh. I had to wait a bit because there was a car that had been asked to pull ahead- the car ahead of me got their food but we had to sit there until the staff brought the food out for the car in the lane ahead of the window, which caused a backup. I just felt like if the kids weren't in there playing around things would have gone faster. When I got to the window, he handed me the order, and I asked him if the cocktail sauce was in the bag. He said, "Oh! What kind?" But one of his coworkers overheard and rectified the situation. Honestly, that might have been a language barrier issue, perhaps, even at a restaurant that serves shrimp. The food was piping hot still even by the time I got home, but the fish was way too salty. Couldn't eat all of it! The fries were good. Coleslaw was fine but it's just a bite or two in a little cup - not a full serving. I don't know - I might give it another shot, but I think I really will go to...

My wife and I eat here weekly, we have for the past couple of years. Our menu items don't vary much because when we want catfish this is where we go. I have read a lot of the reviews and find them OK at best. Sharks gets very very busy, when places that cook to order get slammed customer service usually declines due to staffing workload during these times. I am not justifying it by any means just pointing out what most people forget. 9 out of 10 times the food is exactly as I expect, GOOD. The service is rarely top notch but I also understand that this is a fast-food place and they don't have top paid employees. This place is the Boom.com food always hot and fresh .I order catch fish nuggets and orka cold slaw it was delicious.
