Worst Waffle House experience I've ever had. I go in at 2:30pm on a Sunday, the kids and I sit on a table and waitress is distracted by coworkers joking back and fourth shouting jokes laughing it up as she's taking my order, not fully focused on me. I had to make sure she got my order correct, twice. Another coworker of hers was mopping at the time and tells me to lift my legs so he can mop underneath my table. Very bothered by it, but I did, no problem. As the waitress calls out my order to the cook, she turns around and shouts at me if I want onions when she could have just walked up and asked me. Ok no problem, I answered. When I got my order served, I noticed the waitress forgot my coffee. So I get up and asked her for it and she gets a coworker to get my coffee (she's not doing anything and I am the only table she is waiting on) brings me my coffee (way overfilled) and sets it on my table. Then I noticed they forgot quite a few other things from my order, not to mention got my order wrong. I have to get up again and tell her the things they forgot to serve us. They fix the problem. Then another waitress comes up to me as I'm still eating, tell me that my waitress wants me to pay now because she has to go. I was very bothered at this moment. Not only they lack of professionalism, I felt rushed to finish up my meal. After I was done, we used the restroom and it smelled like wet dog in there right after they "cleaned" and mopped them. I am not the type to leave reviews this is actually my first review to leave on anyone's page but what happened today really upset me. Will never go back again. Read moreMe and my guy ate here the morning of Oct 11th. The food was of usual Waffle House quality. Everything came out timely. My server was not friendly and was unapproachable from the moment we walked in the door. I literally walked in and just by the look on her face thought "I hope that's not out server." She was a tiny girl who's name maybe started with an "S". She never introduced herself or even said "hello" or "good morning". Never smiled. I even heard her refusing to help out the team b/c "What if it's not my waffle?" I've worked restaurants for years and it doesn't matter if it's your final table, if your last three tables stiffed you, or even if you just don't want to be there... It's literally customer service and attitude is everything. We shouldn't feel like a burden when we're paying you... We still tipped of course because I have served before, but I honestly didn't feel like she deserved it and if my guy hadn't stopped me I would've talked to the manager about her attitude.
