We came in today. I was willing to pay the $13.25 or whatever for the salad bar. Even though you have cheaped out on the ingredients. I went up, assembled my salad, and then saw my dressing wasn’t out. I asked about it and was told it’s no longer carried. Unfortunately, I have gastroparesis so I could not use any other dressings and don’t like dry salad so I could not eat it. The server asked if she should take the plate, we said yes and she grabbed it and walked away. Never asked if I’d like to order anything else, etc. I didn’t grab anything else from the salad bar. I left before my grandparents, assuming only my drink would be on the bill. The salad bar was still on the bill, as well as my grandfathers meal which he had a birthday coupon for. Then the manager argued with him about comping the salad bar, stating they’d be taking a loss. My plate was mostly lettuce, and if you wouldn’t keep taking stuff off your menu, we wouldn’t have been in this position to begin with. We use to go to (Leesport) Hoss’s at least once a week (before you closed it). It is going downhill and hard, I can see why so many locations have been closing. I’ve watched managers comp steaks at Hoss’s when the guest ate most of it but complained. Yet I didn’t even take a bite and you want to charge me full price? The customer service is severely lacking. I really do hope things get better, I loved...
Read moreAfter three separate times of trying to eat here, we finally got in. The first time it was closed on a Monday for staffing issues. The second time was a 35 minute wait for lack of staff. And finally this time we got in right away and there were seven staff members for about 15 tables being used. This felt like it would have worked. Unfortunately it did not! After waiting 15 minutes, the manager asked if we had been waited on. And that would be no! So she took our drink order. She came back and promptly took our orders. Two of us ordered the salad bar and an steak sirloin dinner. I was asked how I want my steak. I said medium well and no butterfly. About 35 minute later someone else brings out our dinner and leaves. The steak was well, well, done and butterflied. From this point we had no drinks again and no waitress. So after attempting to eat. We spoke to the manager and she took our bill. I would have preferred to pay for the food at least cost wise. The gentleman around the corner, said he had pretty much same experience. I'm not sure still, how many waitresses are needed per table, but these need training. The poor hostess was doing everything and manager was trying to cover as well. It just didn't work and they were becoming busy as we left. Unfortunately no return to...
Read moreOur first time their this afternoon. It definitely was not busy. I think the one waitress was not all there (hope drug screenings are required to work there). Took FOREVER between the visits to the salad bar and ready for our meal to recieve our food and over 10m to get our check. My med well steak was a little under cooked, my husband was cooked right but not the greatest tasting. Mine came back (when my husband's almost done) and it was a little over cooked and very very fatty Ribey for the price you're paying..I did like it. The house steak sauce is Terrible. Two strong ingredients you strongly taste that you don't want on a steak- cinnamon and cloves...eww totally ruined my husband's steak. Asus sauce they give needs a little more flavor. The salad bar- non of the soups had lids, the garlic bread cold. Salad is good. Desserts I didn't try, my husband was done and I just wanted to go.. we really didn't want to be there all day that's why we went when it was not busy. Hate to see what it's like when they are busy. I'd maybe give it a 2nd shot if there was a legit chance this don't happen BUT THEY WEREN'T BUSY. Management should make sure all staff can do their job properly, professionally, sober, and maybe be seen...
