Prepare yourself it's gunna be a long one.
Firstly the food here is very good. I got the cheesesteak sub and it was spot on, cooked evenly and not dry at all. The sub roll tasted fresh and delicious (roll makes the sub!!), The french fries were fresh and fried to perfection!! That is why it deserves five stars. It's a restaurant and it is clean and they have good food, great personable staff, and great atmosphere. I was in here earlier while DoorDashing and the employee or possible owner started a conversation with me and was very nice. The atmosphere here is great, you can tell that this establishment is a staple in the community. Plenty of locals in here conversing and enjoying themselves. It makes it feel like your at home on a holiday with family. All in all a great experience.
I do want to talk about the other reviews on here though. You will quickly find a theme for any one star or low star rating. Lots of complaints about the mask on here. Whereas people's opinions should not be stiffled I feel rating this one star based off of the owners decision on what to do or how to run his business just invalidates your attempt for people to take your review seriously. Whether the employees decide to wear mask or are forced to is not the decision of the patrons. To the note of cleanliness this establishment is very clean and the health department post inspection results for people to review if they feel the need. Each business decides how to run it's business but please don't one star a establishment because you don't agree with it's choices, drop it down a star or two but give a honest review!
I highly enjoyed this establishment and would suggest those who enjoy local owned and operated business...
Read moreI'd like to preface this review by admitting that I did not have the chance to try the food, and therefore cannot comment on its taste, due to the unsafe environment in which it was prepared. With this being said, Brad's Pizza is a COVID nightmare waiting to happen. No employee was wearing a mask and when asked for their reason, the owner became extremely defensive and stated that it wasn't a law. Without further prompting, the owner asked "what, are you afraid to get it?" and when I answered honestly, "yes, I am", he began telling me to stay home if I felt unsafe. I asked for a refund for the food I ordered from home and he said "no, you already paid for it. It's yours". I calmly informed the employees that it was mandated by Governor Wolf that all restaurant employees wear a mask (with some leeway for health restrictions) and I was met with eye rolls and additional negative comments. I think that it is also important to mention that in this open kitchen, I witnessed many employees touching their faces which dramatically increases the risk of spreading the virus. I threw the pizza away in the dumpster as soon as I got home.
Please keep yourself and your community safe by avoiding...
Read moreOn Sat. 1/8/22 I order two chicken Steaks and one Tuna subs. When I paid the bill she told me the bill was $23.25 plus sale tax. I told her that in your flyer laying there they are listed for $6.70 ea. She told me the price went up. I then stated to her why do you have these flyers laying there then. She then told me that she tell everyone who orders something the price went up. She didn't tell me that until I complain. I then went back to the table upset. After sitting there for five minutes I decided to go up to the wall where all the prices are listed at. The prices on the board were the same as the prices on the flyer. It sounds to me that they are switch and bait the price and keeping more money. This is the first time I have been there and it will be the last time. I don't like people who I think are trying to get more money from me. You don't raise your prices up and then leave a flyer on the counter saying one thing and you do another thing. You don't put one price on your price sign on the wall and then charge a different price. That's taking...
