Northern Ice — Restaurant in North Ogden

The shape of ice they use in their drinks is popular and raved about.

The rough textured ice in their snow cones is not as appealing as shaved ice or others.

This area could use something between Zeppe's and Northern Ice's ice texture. Northern Ice's flavorings are more generous and tasty.

They get a lot right here. The menu board is creative and appealing. Pricing is reasonable- makes returning frequently something to look forward to doing.

The trash smells putrid, even from six feet away. Bees swarm so I don't blame employees for not wanting to clean. The sticker on the can makes me smile: "Nine out of ten bees prefer Northern Ice."

The property has beautiful bushes flowering and a nice gazebo. Gratefully such is a distance from parking and trash. Bee's did not become a problem, far from the can, at gazebo until I was almost done with my snow cone.

This property has everything... a Dry Creek bed with a bridge, a hidden slide, grass, shade.

Contact with one employee. She communicated well letting me know the order in front of me might take a bit before she can take my order.

I shared, "No problem, I was enjoying reading the menu", asking for a sample of their Dole, peavh, (custard?). I told her that the people in front of me offered to let me go in front of them but I needed more time. She promptly brought me a sample. I've tried Dole at two different places and do not see what people like. I won't give up yet though.

Worst experience at an ice cream stand and I won’t be going back. I went and ordered an swirl for my husband and a vanilla cone for myself. After paying I was told they had no vanilla and I had to pick something else. I was upset because I specifically came for vanilla but fine. I ended up finding something else on the menu to order that was a couple dollars more. The guys said I would have refund my first order and pay again.. fine. Then he told me he was unable to refund me to I could 1. Just pay for the new ice cream with no refund to the vanilla cone they could give me! Or 2. Order chocolate which I don’t like. At that point I was don’t and told them this was my first and last time...

My experience here was much lower than expected. I came here and ordered a rootbeer freeze and to be quite honest, the freeze was very dissapointing. It was merely a small scoop of cheap vanilla icecream mixed in with a can of rootbeer. The young man who prepared it failed to observe safe hygiene practices as he placed my spoon directly on the counter after it was placed into my cup. We are in a pandemic for goodness sakes. I could have made a much better freeze at home. The only positive thing about this place is they have nice grounds. If only the quality of their deserts could match the quality of their...
