FYI to parents about the big slide:
They do allow you to take kids under 4 ft on the big slide if they ride on your lap. However, depending on who's running the top, they'll make your kid take off their flotation device.
The first time we went, my kiddo was allowed to keep her puddle jumper on and that was good because the water pressure creates enough force to sometimes cause me to slip at the end (I'm not very tall). If she hadn't had her flotation device, her head would have been under the water the whole time while I was trying to regain my footing.
The second time we went (different day), we got all the way to the top and the girl told us my kid had to take her puddle jumper off. Fortunately, the water pressure was mild enough that I didn't slip and was able to keep her up the whole time.
This is kind of scary to me. Small kids aren't likely to be champion swimmers, and there's always a chance a parent could lose their grip on their kid.
I understand ultimately the decision is the parent's responsibility, but they could make the policy more clear so parents don't find out right at the top.
Overall, good pool for the price. The kids have...
Read moreIt's a fun place. They have a fun baby pool, kids pool, deep pool, splash pad, slide, a large and short diving board and a small lazy river. They have a lot of umbrella tables and lounge chairs. They also have a pavilion and grassy areas so u can set up beach umbrellas. U can take in your own food or buy food there. They do not allow rafts or big floating things. They do allow small rafts for babies. They also have lifejackets for use for free for most sizes. All kids 3 and under are required to have a swim diaper and plastic diaper cover. They have mens and womens changing areas/bathrooms and showers. They do have 2 large sepreat wheelchair accessible bathrooms and lockers. The staff was all very nice and helpful. Every 2 hours they have everyone get out of the pools for about 5 to 15 min to do a pool check. Great place for a summer day. My family spent about 5 hours here. A few wanted to spend more time and a few wanted less. It's just up to u how much time u...
Read moreWe came here for the first time yesterday and had a blast. I would give it 5 stars except there are SO many rules. Now, obviously you want some strict rules at a water park to ensure safety, but the guy at the entrance demanded to see my 1 year old's diaper to ensure it was a swim diaper, and then once he saw that is was, he told us that they require plastic pants as well. I can appreciate protecting everyone against nasty diapers, but it's a little awkward to undress your child so a stranger can take a look. With some things you almost have to take people's word for it.
The facility itself is clean, watched closely by lifeguards, and I appreciated the occasional safety check where everyone leaves the pool. We enjoyed it so much that I was thinking of buying a season pass, but it's too expensive. I believe it's $65/person which isn't HORRIBLE, but I think $40-45 is a more fair price for...
