Picked up a pizza here yesterday (1/10/21) because we had a coupon through Slice app. Upon entering not a single employee was wearing a mask including the manager who was sitting in an open-windowed booth next to the pickup counter. Will not return, ever, and will be reporting to the Health Department.
Edit: In response to the store's response - When I walked in your front desk worker was standing directly next to your pizza chef in front of the oven. Neither was wearing a mask and they were so close to each other they could have hugged. Your response is unacceptable and your store policies are questionable at best.
Employees are required, by law, to wear face coverings when they could come in contact with customers, especially in food service where breath aerosols can be expelled onto food, ingredients, and the containers the food is put into. I guarantee the window in the manager's booth is not 6 feet from where she was sitting. What you are doing is unsafe and unreasonable.
If you were really, "doing everything you can to keep your employees safe," then you would require them to wear masks at all times when in your store. There are no excuses to not wear a mask - even 4 year olds can do it. The only reason not to follow the mask mandate is that you do not care about the health of your customers.
As someone who has lost a family member to Covid, what you are doing is dangerous and appalling. I will make sure to make it known to everyone locally that your store is unsafe due to not following the mask mandate like every other restaurant has been doing for almost a year now. Franky, if you are still having issues adjusting to a policy that every other restaurant and carry-out place in Ohio has been abiding by for almost a year now, you do not deserve to be in business.
