Starbucks — Restaurant in North Olmsted

I don’t usually review chains. The food and service tend to be pretty standard. That’s kind of the deal with chain places. You know what you’re getting. And honestly, that works for me. I’m a creature of habit, especially when I travel, and I usually stick to places I know. That’s why I’ve been ordering the same iced tea from Starbucks for the past 15 years. A Trenta unsweetened black tea. It’s simple, refreshing, and consistently good.

Now, is it overpriced? Yeah. Nearly five bucks for iced tea feels a little ridiculous, and it’s definitely more of a luxury these days than it used to be. I don’t grab one every day like I did years ago, but once a week, I treat myself. And when I do, it’s almost always at this Starbucks near my house.

This location stands out. It’s busy, but I never wait. I order through the app, and by the time I walk in, my drink is ready. No fuss. No delay. But what really makes this place worth mentioning is the staff. They’re consistently friendly, upbeat, and welcoming. No matter how I’m feeling, they somehow manage to lift my mood a little. That kind of energy is rare, especially first thing in the morning.

So yes, the prices are steep. But the service at this location makes it feel like more than just a stop for caffeine. It’s a small bright spot in my week, and for anyone who enjoys iced tea, I’d definitely recommend trying the Trenta...

I love this Starbucks. My fiancée and I pick up coffees here all the time and the baristas there just know how to do it. They are always nice, though they’re incredibly busy and seem to really enjoy it. Today I called to edit an Uber eats order and was honestly nervous because people are always so irritated on the phone when you call at busy times. But the girl who answered the phone fixed it right away and even took the time to adjust the price so I wouldn’t overpay for my coffee- I wish I could tip them through Uber eats!! She was so kind and helpful, and then my coffees arrive and it is THE BEST coffee I’ve gotten from any Starbucks in a long time. I get the same order every time and it tends to be made differently depending on which location I go to but these coffees were so good I wish I ordered 2. Completely blessed my morning. Okay, look. I thought about posting this since last Thursday. I attempted to have a session at this location and the lobby was closed off. First of all, that’s not a huge deal. What was so mind boggling and awful to witness was the general manager eating and massless while his entire staff was complying and wearing a mask. He then proceeded to sit and wear his mask incorrectly and eat the entire time within distance of me that made me horribly uncomfortable to wait for my drink. The regular staff were AMAZING. The general manager had a horrible attitude and you can feel his arrogance and superiority from afar. The staff provided a welcome environment, the store manager which I confirmed with staff that’s who he was, made the space horribly uncomfortable and unwelcoming.
