So, I ordered food online at La Bamba, went to pick it up and when I walked in, the food I ordered was sitting on a table with no one around. I picked it up, walked to my car and as I was walking to my car I began growing more concerned about the food being left unattended. So I decided to return and ask how long the food was left unattended. When I walked back in, I had to wait an additional 5 five minutes for someone to emerge from the back. Which, of course, got me thinking the food must've been left unattended for a long time. A female emerge and I expressed my concern. She asked if I wanted them to make another one and I said yes, because I didn't feel comfortable eating food that was left unattended. So, I went back to my car and waited. 5 minutes later, the Chef/manager/ or owner (he never told me who he was) came to my car with the original plate in hand. He began to argue with me asking "why do I think someone could've put something in the food" and "why would someone put something in the food". I explained it could happen if the food was left unattended and as to why, people do things all the time without reason. He finally agreed that it could've happened but was unwilling to make another plate. So I asked for a refund and he obliged. That situation was embarrassing and uncalled for. And very strange because the man came to my vehicle in a hostile manner as if I did something wrong.
