La Strada Pizzeria — Restaurant in North Plainfield

Stay far away!! Placed an order for delivery while at work, and the delivery woman refused to come into my office (which is only 15 feet from the reception desk). She stated she was "too busy" to come to me. Told the receptionist to tell her to leave then and I would order elsewhere. She came to my office and yelled "FOOD!" On top of the rude service, the food was absolutely disgusting. The Chicken cheesesteak wrap was mediocre at best. The portion should belong on the kid's menu; I don't even think it was 5 inches. The chicken alfredo was terrible. The chicken was rubbery when you bit into it, and the sauce was soupy. The only flavor was that of black pepper, as if the lid fell off the shaker and they thought "screw it." Wouldn't order from them ever again. Stay away. There are plenty of other Italian restaurants in the area with better customer service and far superior food.

A few days ago, I had a really bad stomach issue while I was there — something I couldn’t control. I ended up using the bathroom, and unfortunately, it clogged. It was embarrassing, and I felt horrible about it. When I returned to eat again, the staff decided to publicly confront me about it in front of other customers. I apologized multiple times, but the way they handled it was unprofessional and humiliating. The boss even said, “Next time it’ll be your bill,” like it was some kind of joke — but I was genuinely sick. On top of that: Their pizza is wildly overpriced for what it is

Old School Pizza place with excellent selection of non-plain slice ready to go. Not to mention excellent pasta and sandwich choices. The salads they offer and have available are underrated in my opinion. Nice small breads are fresh as well.

Located close to Major Highway and always plenty of parking. Call ahead to save time or try delivery service.

Prices are fair and the staff / owners are very much involved in keeping high standards even through the tough times we are all facing.

Nice small town feel & they are highly efficient and quick to please customers.

If you are looking for a quick plain slice or a more filling Italian meal this is the place to visit if you are in the area or just passing by !
