Sadly, my kindness can only go so far. I’m a quiet, respectful customer who tips well and rarely leaves negative reviews because I value supporting small, women-owned businesses. However, my patience with this salon has run out. I gave the owner 24 hours to respond to a polite, written message about my recent appointment on 11/8. My message was read and ignored. After months of giving chances, it’s become clear that the salon is not operated with professionalism or accountability. The overall environment feels disorganized and poorly maintained. I’ve personally observed food plates left on tables, overflowing trash outside, and visible stains on the furniture. These are not conditions customers should have to overlook at a personal care business. Let alone, pay for overpriced basic set on color nails for. Communication is another ongoing issue. Many employees do not speak English (which isn’t the problem). The issue is that customers who don’t speak Spanish are often asked to communicate with the owner (when she isn’t present) through a phone on speaker or another employee’s device. This setup offers no privacy, feels unprofessional, and has happened to me multiple times. During one visit, the owner’s relative/ staff member made an inappropriate comment to a customer telling them to “twerk” before leaving. Although this was a joke, the customer was left visibly uncomfortable and embarrassed (she also said the same to me). On another occasion, when I attempted to adjust my appointment, the same employee managing the schedule responded with a dismissive tone despite having reached out first. Clearly her own relative/ staff doesn’t respect the establishment either. Moments like these reflect a lack of professionalism from management-level staff. I continued coming for nearly a year only because of one exceptional nail technician who is talented, respectful, and professional. I sincerely hope she finds a workplace that matches her skill and integrity, because she was the only reason I stayed. My final visit confirmed that this business prioritizes profit over customer care. The salon sent me a “25% returning-customer discount” text the same week of my appointment, yet the owner refused to honor it, claiming I hadn’t visited in five months and the promo “expired”, which was incorrect. Rather than address the matter directly, she had my nail tech relay the message, even though she was on-site. When I followed up politely for clarification, my message was again read and ignored. To add to the disorganization, the owner arrived late to her own appointment that day, and another client’s scheduled technician/ the owner’s relative, failed to show up too. Both incidents happened within hours of each other, which reinforced the lack of consistency, accountability, and disregard for customer time. Honestly, what truly makes me look down on this salon is the owner’s display of greed by revoking my chance to save a few dollars after her business offered me the promo 3 days before my appointment, and then claiming I hadn’t been there consistently. This salon operates on customer patience but does not uphold the standards of cleanliness, organization, or communication that clients deserve and PAY FOR. A salon should be clean, calm, and professionally managed. Unfortunately, this one is not. I hope the owner takes this feedback seriously and considers taking a customer service refresher courses to implement changes that reflect respect for both clients and staff. She sadly costed her nail tech to lose a returning client as well because I’m never going back. Until then, I cannot recommend this establishment to anyone seeking a professional or relaxing salon experience because this place falls below basic level standards.

This will be my first and last time at this place. Felt like I was negotiating at a car dealership. Booked 2 back to back appointments with Ingrid for my mother and myself. I booked for a specific time, and specifically booking with Ingrid as the website specifies, I was pointed to two other nail techs immediately. After confronting her, she said I would have to wait. I ended up waiting 45 mins after my appointment time. To save time, my mother settled for another artist and was told her set would be $100. After showing her a picture of the set we wanted, on her website as an “ACRYLIC FULL SET” (SHORT) for $70. We were a bit confused and I referred back to the website to make sure we were looking at the same thing. She then let me know she added a fee because she wanted “French Set.” So I referred back to the website and found the set - “SHORT FULL SET” with the description, “Deep cuticle cleaning, acrylic application gel color or French and exfoliation” priced at $85. After showing Ingrid her own website with the listed price she stated “I am the Master Nail Tech, and another nail tech has different prices. I then asked “you’re the master nail tech and you have cheaper prices?” The nail techs that were having their nails done were referring to Ingrid to find out the prices of the the nails they”d done. So I find it ironic that each nail tech has a different price but the website has the same price for each professional and they were asking Ingrid for the price of each set. I also referred back to the website (picture included), the Acrylic Full Set, with any professional, is listed for $70. I could tell the sales pitch was funneling and she started to say, “well those are starting prices.” After hearing this, I kindly asked what’s the difference from the set that was on the website as opposed to what she had done. Ingrid then replied “well for the work that you are getting that is the price.” With this being said I wanted to ask does your site state for mediocre work this is the base price and for my great work (that’s presented on the sites and social media) their will be an extra fee. As a business owner you should take pride in your work and do a great job for all clients based upon the price listed on your website. This is all after repeatedly showing the nail tech the exact set in the website with the listed price. Once I realized that they were just throwing prices aloud instead of what the website states I repeatedly asked her what was the price of my nails. She insisted they were $60 and said she was giving me a discount off. Again, as opposed to the site, the BUILDER GEL MANICURE, already listed for $60. As a salesperson I’m aware of these tactics, but I don’t expect for these tactics to be done at a nail salon, especially one with a booking site with prices listed. After a frustrating visit, to remedy the situation, Ingrid insisted I don’t pay for my nails. Wanted to leave an honest review, as most first time goers can feel intimidated and feel subjected to pay the price that they throw out. So beware and be mindful of the tactics used. I’ve definitely had better experiences elsewhere with service and pricing. As a business owner I would never argue with someone to lower their price, however I feel that if you have a price listed on your website you should honor those prices.

I was so happy with my experiences at first before finding out the owner has a terrible attitude . Let me explain , she works along side her daughter so she takes things personally rather than professionally . I asked for a medium cut nail , and a simple French tip , I had a busy day ahead . Sat down and immediately I felt like she was rushing ... the nails I have are terrible , one had is completely different from the other !, she grabbed nail clippers and cut and now one hand is way to short for comfort . And one had is painted darker then the other . When I explained to her daughter that I'm upset all her daughter said was "well I'll cut the other side down " no apology or anything . Mind you I don't like SHORT NAILS, mind you I have things to do within that day . I called my fiancée to explain to her why I was upset . The owner decided to approach me with a hostile tone and attitude, because I was "talking about her daughter ". When in reality I was speaking on the lack of service and professionalism. You as an owner , mom and teacher should know not to take things clients say personally . It's business , she proceeded to argue with me in the store while I was speaking to my fiancé for over 15mins . Then with a attitude said "you want it fixed or no" . Like no ofcourse not . I just wanna say , I know you gonna respond with a bad attitude here because , I seen your previous replies . But you need to learn that just because she is your child doesn't mean you can attack people that speak on her work . Correct her and address the client respectfully no matter how upset you may be . That's business . Nails completely different and sloppy .

This will be my first and last time going here. I've experienced horrible service from this place.when I came in October 13th 2024 this was my first time coming in here. When I got my appointment the nail technician I had Ingrid was not only judgemental but rude, and unprofessional and hurt my nail cuticle. She asked me what I wanted for design for my acrylic nails.I showed her that picture and she showed the other nail tech and the other nail tech proceeds to make a comment unnecessary comment and Ingrid agrees.

Then proceededs to say " I'm not judging you I'm just getting to know my clients. At that point I couldn't even do anything about it cause they would charge me full price on my nails. So walking out wasn't a option. With addition to that I told her who was my previous nail tech because my acrylic nails grew out and I needed a new set. And when I tell her who did my nails previously the other nail tech same one who made that comment said those nails where ugly because of that nail technician they don't like because they new her.

That was completely unprofessional I came in here to get my nails done not to talk about people who you have altercations with. The thing that put the icing on the cake was her cutting my cuticles and messing up wether it was on done purpose or unintentionally doesn't matter. My Cuticles were bleeding and she knew it all she did was wipe it off. My nails felt like they were burning I couldn't even wash my hands cause they were exposed. All I'm saying is this If this is what you call a nice professional place then I wouldn't recommend it. I'm never coming back here. I paid $130 for not only acrylics nails but also and unprofessional...
