Horrible experience. I placed a (48.00) order online at 7 pm, I received a confirmation through yelp that Grubhub processed the order and I would receive my order by 8:19pm, I then called at 8:40 and spoke to a young very giggly man on the phone who put me on hold at least 4 times and returning each time to read me the wrong address back over and over, he then confirmed my order by reading each item back to me, then apologized and said my order was on its was and I should be receiving it within no more then 15 minutes. Another 45 minutes passed by and it was now almost 10pm. I placed another call and the same young giggling man picked up the call, he then placed me on hold at least 4 more times reading back the wrong addresses and then stated he never received my order and they do not process orders through Yelp or GrubHub. When I asked how he read back the order and my address at 8:40 and stated it would be at my home with 15 minutes he claimed that someone else had placed the exact same 48.00 order but it was delivered to a different address. As I began to question him he continuously spoke over me and kept placing me on hold laughing. Time and time again I asked to speak to a manager, which he then claimed that he was the manager and refused to give me his name and then proceeded to hang up on me. At 9:58 he called me and said I can have his name which he then said laughing that his name was Marcus, I told him I wanted a refund and he stated he would not give me a refund and I can replace the order with him over the phone and have it delivered with a duplicate payment. I could not believe what I had to go through with this young man, three hours after I placed my order. Shortly after that call ended I started to receive calls from a blocked number about 7 in total from 10pm until about 11pm. I was so upset and yelled at him on the last prank phone call, I then stated that I knew it was him calling from the pizzeria and hung up, at 11:05 I received a nasty text from this individual, challenging me to confront him. My husband then grabbed my phone called the number from his phone and the individual hung up. My husband then received about 3 phone calls from a blocked number and would hang up each time. On the last call my husband at this point was irate and yelled at the prank caller. The same voice from the pizzeria was on the other end, my husband advised that this individual stop making threatening calls to him and his wife or he was going to pay a visit to the pizzeria when they reopened. After that call, the prank calls ended.
I placed the order to feed my three children and myself who is 5 months pregnant. I did not deserve this treatment and I still can’t believe this happened. I woke up this morning to find two additional charges on my credit card in the amount OF 48.00 processed by the pizzeria.
Unfortunately, I will have to make phone calls and try and stop payment on the charges.
I hope this man is let go from his job so no one else has to experience this...
Read moreAre they even Italian????? I specifically ordered calamari marinara OVER spaghetti. They asked fried or sautéed, and clearly told them sautéed. When it got delivered, the spaghetti and marinara were in a seperate container from FRIED calamari! This was not the first time this happened. Previously before I had ordered chicken francaise and it came with marinara over spaghetti with chicken francaise in a seperate container completely ruining the dish.
When I called back, Monica the same woman that took the order picked up. I told her what I got wasn't what I ordered. With no apology she took my order down again and told me that she'll have the delivery guy drop it off to me. A few minutes later she called back and told me I had to return the dish that was originally delivered. I asked her how long for the wait she told me 25 mins, knowing most likely not. I asked her what will happen to the order ill be returning. Mind you I've worked in Italian restaurants before, so I know how they trash all returned orders. She proceeded by giggling and told me to not worry about it. I told her ill be keeping the order because it will be thrown out and it was late and I was hungry. I figured i could eat some to hold me over until my order came. She continued to argue with me and told me that the deal is to return the dish for a new one. I then told her how there is no deal and it was her mistake and if she wants my business she can decided whether to send me my order. Read moreI have been dining at restaurant for years and every time I go I order stuffed shells. Upon arriving at the restaurant, a young man appears, doe not say hello and asks can I help you. I advise that I would like a table for one, he looks around and sees that there are no tables and replied can you wait. I replied, yes, I saw that it busy so I chose to wait 20 min’s to be seated. Upon being seated, I noticed the staff looked frazzled. I brought out my bottle of wine and I was asked if I had brought a wine opener and I answered yes and she walked away. Bread sticks came to the table and not the usual round bread that I so enjoy. Upon trying the bread, it tasted stale. I noticed it was one woman taking orders and serving tables therefore it took awhile for my order to be taken. When she took my order I ordered another beverage with a glass of ice. A few minutes after placing an order a second young woman comes to the table, does not say hello and asks asks can she take my order. By the time my stuffed shells came out still no beverage. I tried the stuffed shells and the tomato sauce was not what I am accustomed to and it was soooo salty. I did not enjoy my meal, the staff was not genuinely friendly, I did not feel welcome like I have in the past. I can understand when a restaurant may be short staffed however hospitable genuine kindness and great customer service goes a long way.
