Wawa — Restaurant in North Plainfield

Frustrating Experience Tonight I've been a loyal customer at this Wawa store for a while now, visiting almost every day. However, my recent visit left me quite disappointed.

Today, I waited for over 10 minutes for my sandwich, which is unusual considering the prompt service I've experienced here before. What was more disheartening was the unprofessional behavior of the staff member who prepared my sandwich.

When I politely inquired about the status of my order, the response was less than courteous. Instead of providing a timeframe or a simple update, I was met with a rather rude remark. It's important to remember that customers, like myself, value respectful and friendly service.

To make matters worse, when my sandwich was finally ready, it was quite literally "slapped" onto the counter. This behavior was not only unprofessional but also unacceptable. As a regular patron, I believe that we should be treated with respect and kindness, especially considering the Wawa brand's reputation for quality and customer service.

I understand that everyone can have off days, and I'm hopeful that this was an isolated incident. However, I believe it's important to bring such issues to your attention to maintain the high standards that Wawa is known for. I sincerely hope my next visit will be more in line with the positive experiences I've had...

Hands down the best Wawa around- such a convenient location, it’s actually the prime ideal location so it’s constantly busy but the staff is amazing and give you phenomenal customer service while being professional quick and efficient. Lauren the supervisor is the definition of CUSTOMER SERVICE every time I go in there she is helping out somewhere no matter what needs to be done she’s there, the staff takes their time to get to know their regulars and I’m always greeted by name and they all know exactly what drink I’m gonna order , they pay attention to the details. Ryan on drinks is phenomenal greets me every morning asks how I’m doing and starts prepping my drink before I even order it . I came to this Wawa to pick up an order around 1:05 am on Monday. I approached the woman at the counter and let her know I was picking up. She asked me if I checked the rack with a really nasty tone to her voice. She kinda caught me off guard because I usually have a pleasant experience with all the other employees. I responded and let her know that I usually pick the orders up from the counter and I wasn’t aware of the rack. She then responded “So go check the rack” once again with a really condescending attitude.
