This place was honestly terrible, and I’m not one to complain about restaurants. I went with my boyfriend at 8pm on a Sunday, so it wasn’t even that late. Paid $25 for a raw plain hot dog, a dry hamburger, and literally the oiliest fries I have ever seen/eaten in my life, so I was already annoyed, but of course we ate it because we paid for it. Me and my boyfriend felt sick that night and at 3:00am I literally threw up 4 times. I’m honestly not surprised that this happened after even just looking at the food. I could’ve paid less and eaten better at mc Donald’s. I’m so disappointed in this place and I will never recommend this or eat here again.

What a terrible experience. I went for lunch to grab a couple chili dogs. An elderly gentleman helped me. When it came time to pay he got all upset that my credit card didn’t have a chip- he snapped at me “why don’t you get a card with a chip”. He was unfriendly from the beginning but that was just plain rude.. the food was so-so, prices were ok, inside is dated and a little dirty they had a bucket on one of the tables because the roof was leaking. So many better hot dog huts in the Garden State - for sure skip this one.

Rustic old style, got 1 star due to robbing guests with the price. While a CALIFORNIA BURGER cost $5.39 and the CALIFORNIA CHEESEBURGER costs $5.59 (20 cents more) the BACON CALIFORNIA CHEESEBURGER IS $6.99 ($1.41 More than the CALIFORNIA CHEESEBURGER) they charge $2.00 for lettuce and tomato even though it's ONLY .20 Cents difference between the 2... $3.50 xtra for fries and you can see the amount.

Red Tower II has been around for the past 80+ years and you can sort of tell by the outside of the restaurant. The place itself is a bit dingy and the floors and tables are a little sticky but what you see is what you get and I appreciate that honesty & transparency in a food place. The hot dogs here were incredible, I ordered 2 of their Texan Wieners, 1 chili dog & 1 relish & onion. The bread to hot dog ratio is perfectly balanced, the sausage casing snaps beautifully as you take your first bite and the flavors are incredible just the right amount of salty. Their fries were well done and very crunchy, and the onions are hefty in all the right ways with the outside being extremely crunchy. The prices were very reasonable, the service was very fast and the fry chef definitely knows what he is doing! If you're looking for a place to eat some authentic American style hot dog & greasy food, this is definitely the right place. The food is perfect for after a night of drinking, after a hard swimming/lifting session or when you're in the mood for something fast you know you can trust to have consistent quality - this is definitely the right...

I have pasted this place so many times and had mixed feeling. Today I stopped to give it a try. Entered and looked at the staff 2 very old guys. Thought to myself gotta be really good or real bad. The the place looked clean, bathrooms are outside to get to them. Wasn't going to do that. Menu board is old and strictly fast food. Tried the lunch special 2 dogs, fries and drink for $12. Took some time but, fries were well done as ordered but, tasted like the frying oil was very old. Mixed feeling on the dogs. They didn't taste salty like many do in places like this. The dogs had the same taste as the fries. Meaning they used the same old oil to grill the fries. The toppings such as chili was bland and gray looking....

Ok so maybe the place does look a little out dated, but I still love this place. I know the guy and the cook behind the counter and actually am cool with them. We chit chat a few times. I always come here for their California Cheeseburgers and French fries which I love so much. It might be a little expensive, but worth it in my opinion. I've been coming here ever since I was a little kid since about 5 years old. I would come here every Saturday night after church with a group of my church friends. Today I am 29 and moved to Philadelphia back in 2013. But whenever I am in the area, coming to this place to eat is always on my mind and will try to come if I...
