It is hard for me to write this review because the Lord knows I want to give you guys a 5 star so bad. I love the food. The prices. The staff is quick. Hey i love the new look. However, there is one thing that scares me and majority of your customers. That is the lack of willingness to change the gloves. This is huge because with all the diseases, infections, etc going around...you don't want your business being the reason why a huge group of people get sick. Today i witness one of the workers clean the counter, use the towel (that has whatever chemicals in it to keep it clean), go to touch the door to go to the back door, do something in the back (no one knows what, sure he touch something), grab a cup go get coke (SIP OUT THE CUP!!!) and dump the rest in the boiling pot that is cooking something, then come back to the food station and handle peoples orders ALL WITH THE SAME GLOVE! touching lettuce, cheese etc (all the stuff that don't have tongs) . This is not the first time I've witness that happening. What is the point of gloves, if you treat them like it's you hands. Please tell your workers to change their gloves please please please before someone comes mysteriously to check your restaurant and you guys get written up or worse something spreads to your customers and you guys get shut down...ugh that would break my heart. Just please it takes two seconds to change gloves. This is not okay to touch cleaning materials or meat then go handle peoples foods with the gloved hands. Please I don't want you guys to shut down. PLEASE SPEAK TO YOUR WORKERS! The gloves issue will make or break your business and as a faithful customer i do not want that. Also i see the change gloves signs...we shouldn't have to tell your workers to change their gloves after cleaning with them or handling not fully cooked meat products...that is just basic food industry 101 training/ and understanding. I'm not sure if it's because this bajas is in a wealthier neighborhood and these people can't tell the difference between good food and FLAVORLESS food but yall need to be shut down what a shame! And don't even get me on the portion sizes because how did I finish all my chips and still had all my topping to finish with no chips and again no FLAVOR. But, i love Bajas, and i usually go to the one in Johnston, but me and my husband ordered through grub tonight excited to get some Bajas and i was just so disappointed with my meal. They barely put any meat in my tacos, and my tacos looked like a mess. Now i know when you order food, the food typically gets soggy because of the condensation but everything was just more wet than usual and i only put pork, onion, cilantro, and guacamole on with salsa on the side. So this review isn’t against Bajas in general but if you get Bajas please just to the one in Johnston or South Attleboro, not this one.
