I would consider my wife and I foodies...we enjoy good food and have eaten everywhere across the country. I'm not bragging just a fact. We've never eaten at Zorba's on Mineral Spring before and thought we'd try it out considering we like Greek style pizza. Well...they were poorly executed. The toppings were haphazardly applied as if they threw the peppers on. The "Zorba's" special had very little toppings, mostly green sweet peppers and onion...hardly any meat on either pie. The crust was very thin, (I understand some people like thin crusts), but this was thin and soggy. The pies were also unbelievably small in size for the price, approximately 12". We purchased two small pizzas with a total of $29 and change. I left a cash tip.
I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt. These days not being able to find qualified help and so forth and will give them a second chance. Maybe the regular pizza chef was off, maybe they were just having a bad night, I don't know. My folks owned a very successful restaurant for quite a few years, they were successful not because they sold an inferior product, but because they worked hard not to. I know what the restaurant business is like.
I'll give them another chance with the same exact order in a few months to see how they're doing.
I'll be giving you another try with the same order as above soon.
I really don't think the owner read my review with his reply to me that " I may have been having a bad day". If you've been making pizzas for forty years and that was the best you could do then maybe you should retire.
I'll be back and give you another try...this time I'll...

Read moreLady who answered the phone was nice, owner is an entitled man with 40 years in business, yet 0 knowledge on how to speak to customers who've been served HAIR IN THEIR FOOD. I started by saying i enjoyed their calzones typically, but this time there was a HAIR in my CALZONE. Owner accused me of lying, despite me asking for nothing at all, just bringing the hair to their attention. He was rude and abrasive, I genuinely liked their calzones but this was remarkably poor service and food this time. "My chefs are bald" "400 degrees in the oven blah blah blah" there is hair cooked into my food and instead of considering anything I had to say you chose to make me feel wrong for even calling you. I hope you enjoy your miserable life I doubt any of your employees enjoy dealing with you if you're this sour in every interaction no matter how pleasantly...
