Coastal Pizza Kitchen — Restaurant in North Redington Beach

First off the two stars are because the pizza was really good!

We went to this establishment for a late night dinner after a long day. The reviews made it sound amazing. We entered into the restaurant with no one to greet us. No sign to seat yourself or to wait. Then the bar tender invited us in and apologized for no one to seat us. We only seen our waitress once to get our drink order which took her almost 15 minutes to bring out…. I normally wouldn’t care but there was only two other tables when we arrived. After that she disappeared. So once again the bar tender waited our table. He was nice and polite and friendly. He took our order and got us another round of drinks. Then we waited for 45 minutes and watched three other tables come and go….. we were so confused why we didn’t get a third round of drinks and our food… finally we started asking and then instantly the pizza came out. But no plates so once again we had to wait 5-10 minutes to find a server to ask for plates.

Bartender to the rescue once again! He got us everything and then checked on my daughters Alfredo. The Alfredo came out 15 minutes after the pizza did…. Is what it is. Then I tried it. The chicken was very bland and the Alfredo was a basic cheese sauce with really crunchy bread. Looked amazing but didn’t taste that great. Definitely not worth waiting an hour for.

I guess the bartender felt bad he kept apologizing and then gave us a 10% discount. But that doesn’t make poor...

I’ve passed this restaurant more times than I can count and never considered stopping in because I thought it would be an industrial style pizza restaurant. But my husband and I gave it a chance and we were VERY pleasantly impressed. The service was excellent. The staff even catered to our puppy by giving him freshly cooked bacon….what a treat! We ordered the house wine (Pinot Grigio) and it was reasonably priced and generously poured. The pizza Bianca exceeded our expectations. The crust was “crocante” (Italian for crispy and well cooked), the arugula was fresh and the prosciutto was great quality and thinly sliced. It was perfectly balanced in flavor and we enjoyed every bite. I would say this restaurant has “food integrity”. More often than not we are finding restaurants skipping in quality ingredients for profit. Coastal Pizza Kitchen appears to have high standards for their quality both in food and in service. We will most definitely be back and bring friends to enjoy this great...

Was visiting a friend of mine who was staying at a hotel across the street. We decided to grab something to eat and knew there was a pizza place across the street. We had no idea if it was any good or not but she said it was hopping the night before. Then I saw the name and I thought it looked somewhat familiar and so I looked at the reviews and sure enough they were very good. I ordered the pesto portobello mushroom pizza. It was literally to die for! It was scrumptious and it's my new favorite pizza place! We used to live in St Pete and Little Italy's was our go-to and will always be one of my top favorites. Living in Seminole it's not real convenient so another of our favorites is in Seminole, Charlie and Millie's. So now I have two favorites that are close to us and they are very different types of pizza so it will be whatever mood I'm in. I highly highly recommend this place and will be back again and again!
