Starbucks — Restaurant in North Richland Hills

This Starbucks is fairly new. Aesthetically, the landscaping is pleasing to the eye and it's located on a corner, which is really nice. The inside is rather small and you have no sense of privacy. Definitely not a place to do business if you need privacy. The Baristas are unprofessional to the point that you wonder who raised them. They behave like high schoolers. I am reaching out to corporate due to the disrespect I received from "Team Lead" who his peers refer to as "J" or "Jay". As for the food, it's not as good as other Starbucks I have frequented, but they need to be trained in the area of "Food Handling". Their unsanitary practices when handling food needs to be reported to the Health Department. Digging behind your ears, scratching your scalp and rubbing your eyes and nose are the opposite of what is taught in Food Handling Training. In addition, the cleanliness of the restrooms need to be better. All in all, the only thing good about this NEW Starbucks is the location. As for the blatant disrespect I received, while using their restroom facility, "Jay/J" knocked on the restroom door loudly and said I had been in the restroom too long, which was not factual. His tone was condescending and it seemed as if he were looking for or hoping there would be an escalation, which never happened. He also threatened to call the police on a 60 yr old woman who had been nothing but respectful to him and his peers. Just yesterday (1/22/2025) a female Barista did the same thing. It's been done 4 times. I'm going to challenge the executives to look at all surveillance footage to see if there was ANY escalation on my end or ANY disorderly conduct. They're not going to find any thing. This group of Baristas are rude just to be rude. Because their behavior is so unwelcoming, I don't go inside. The atmosphere...

We were excited to see that this new Starbucks location opened and stopped in just after 5pm. I was happy to discover that it had the same vibes as a Starbucks Reserve, as I hadn’t seen one around this area with this design/decor. There was a wide variety of seating and tables both inside and out, including comfy sofas. Anthony was very friendly and helpful with our order. We ordered a Grande White Chocolate Macadamia Cold Brew and a Grande Iced Salted Caramel Cookie Matcha. Both were ready about 3 minutes after we ordered and were delicious. I have always enjoyed the Matcha drinks, but this one is by far the best one I’ve had at Starbucks so far-delicious! We were impressed by our first visit here and look forward to returning. I highly recommend you try this location if you’re in the area-it has a nice ambience, great staff, and our drinks were perfectly prepared. Thank you!

Update 10/27: We have been here in the late afternoon several times since my initial post, and I’ve had a great experience. My orders have been accurate, my coffees delicious, and the staff friendly. I love the little pictures and messages they write on the...

This is by far the worst Starbucks location in the area.

I placed a mobile order and arrived 15 minutes later to pick it up. My cup was sitting on the counter (completely empty) while the barista chatted with a coworker. I waited another 10 minutes while she repeatedly stopped making drinks to continue personal conversations. It was incredibly unprofessional and frustrating.

On a separate occasion, I was overcharged for a drink (that also wasn't even filled properly). When I asked the barista why the in-store price was higher than what I saw in the app, her response was: "At least you know for next time!" and was completely dismissive and unhelpful.
