Bullfrog's Sports Café — Restaurant in North Ridgeville

We have gone to Bullfrog's for the past 2 Tuesdays, (2/23/16 and 2/16/16). We enjoy Trivia and I cannot say enough about Chris, the Trivia host. He does an excellent job. However----and this is a huge however, the service is nothing less than horrible. The first week our food came out cold and late. We are always willing to give a place a second chance because we realize that things happen. Last night the service was even worse. We waited well over an hour for our food order and again it was cold. Two of the members of our party sent their meal back and did not order anything else. My daughter ordered a salad with barbecued chicken. It never came out and when she asked about it, one of the servers went into the kitchen, slapped together a salad, and brought it out. The chicken was not barbecued. I do not blame the server. That is not her job. It seems that there is a gathering of some sort in the front room of the restaurant. Perhaps this overwhelms the kitchen? If that is the case, then it would behoove management to increase their kitchen staff on Tuesday evenings. There is no excuse for this lack of service. Needless to say, we will not be back. I would encourage anyone contemplating this establishment to reconsider. It is a shame because Chris, the Trivia host is really a great guy. Went on a Tuesday evening. Ordered the potato skins as an appetizer. Was actually pretty good. Waitress came back and we placed our order. I had double burger of some sort and my son ordered a chicken flat bread. Burger was okay...chicken flat bread was pretty bland plus not very big. Looked more like an appetizer. Those are the highlights. Our server was pretty awful. Ordered another beer, didn't get. Brought ketchup, almost empty. Never checked on us. Oh yeah, got charged for beer #2 even though I didn't get it. Some manager/bartender came over when I pointed this out to our waitress and asked why I refused the second beer I ordered. What beer? She was pretty nice after I explained what happened and compted my beer (the only one I got!). The rest of the waitstaff seemed fairly uninterested in being there as well though I can't speak for how they served their customers. So, my suggestion, there are much better places to go just a few minutes away on Lorain west of Lear Nagle with GREAT servers and a better food selection. Probably won't be back...

We were sooo excited for some great wings from Bullfrogs on 1-25-20 and even invited some friends to come meet us. We sat at the bar and had the WORST service I have ever received in years. The bartender with glasses and a sweatshirt with blonde hair was calling every person that walked in "hun" and kept telling us 1 second when I tried to order a drink and helping her regulars that walked in after us as if we weren't there. Our drinks were set on the counter aggressively, she took 30 mins just to get our order and every time we ordered anything she would be just walking by while we were talking and only half listening and talked from a distance so it was very uncomfortable. We never got ranch we ordered and she was ignoring us so bad she never asked how our food was or asked if I wanted another beer. We told our friends not to come up and went to 83 & Chestnut instead. It was not busy, the bartender was just incredibly rude. We will NEVER go back to dine in, we love the wings so we will get our food to go and tell everyone to...
