Used to be our best Chinese restaurant for the last 9 years. Until recently last few times we ordered we had to argue with the person on the phone what we wanted to order which was the same meal we always had for 9 years, and they insisted they don't have the size we been ordering for many many years. Go to pick up the meal, tell them in person our issue and the lady respond saying the person on the phone just didn't know, but it happens everytime we order now that we have to argue on the phone and it takes 15 minutes to try and order to meals. Last meal was the final straw. ...ordered fried rice inside of white rice with our sweet and sour chickens after them telling us on the phone fried rice only comes as a side, get home and it's only rice with onions in it! Disgusting!! To top it all off the prices went way up and when we asked about prices and to see the price in the menu they told us they haven't updated the prices yet in the menu! We are so done with this place now. Now sure what happened here, but they definitely lost our...
Read more$5.95 lunch buffet is long gone and I wonder if the ownership or management changed when that happened. Used to be great. I went for lunch today 12/8/19. The guy seating has 0 personality and does not greet you He abruptly says "you want to order?" And I said I would like to sit for lunch. He pointed and said "anywhere".
I was the only one seated for lunch and it was 11:20am. I ordered coconut chicken off the lunch menu with wonton soup instead of an egg roll. The soup was alright with little flavor and the dough was very thick and didnt feel fully cooked on the wontons. Then came my meal. The fried rice was dry and I believe it was probably reheated from the day before. The chicken dish was smothered in a coconut sauce that was not very good. The chicken was tough...I don't know why or how but it was really really tough to chew. Maybe it was dried out in the freezer before? I don't know but it wasn't good. I won't be back and I wish it was run the way it was when it was busy. The bill came to...
Read moreWhat we've been missing! Never knew this was a sit down restaurant right in town. Read the reviews and thought it was worth trying. So glad we did. This ranks up with the best Chinese I've ever had, and I've eaten at quite a few Chinese restaurants. At this point, I think it's probably the best overall. Food was fresh and loaded with flavor. My wife and I shared Moo Goo Gai Pan and Szechuan Chicken combo dinners. Not a complaint. Wonton soup, pork egg roll, and out entrees were all fresh tasty. Szechuan was just a bit hot, which is great for sharing with my wife while satisfying my love of spicy. The mustard just knocked me out! Wow, great flavor and the hot horseradish kind of creeps up on you. I like it! We've ordered enough delivery from a couple local places to know that they're pretty decent, but I really think Little Hong Kong is going to get all of our orders...
