Hop Hing has been my favorite Chinese takeout for many years, even after moving a bit further away from it. It's always been worth the drive. The brown sauce on the Chicken with Broccoli is super delicious. There's more carrots in it these days but it's still so good I don't even mind. Other dishes there are great as well, and in the appetizers the Crab Rangoon and Fried Dumplings are the best in the area.

We ordered two General Tso chicken and it was not chicken it was all fluffy white filling. The white rice was mushy and the fried rice was white rice with yellow food coloring. This place use to be good and has gone downhill and is basically cheating people out of their money with what they are trying to pass off as chicken. If I could give the food a NO star review I would

This place sets the bar high. The vegetables in the fried rice were amazing and you can actually see them. I will definitely be coming back for more!!

HORRIBLE CHRISTMAS DAY EXPERIENCE!! The worst customer service and worst takeout I have ever experienced. I would give this place negative stars if I could. I used to drive past my local takeout Chinese place to come here, well no more! My family and I decided not cook for Christmas Day this year and I recommended Hop Hing for dinner because it used to be great- and although I have not ordered recently, I assumed it was still good. How EMBARRASSING to recommend a place that absolutely ruined our Christmas dinner. My family and I all ordered the “Chef’s Special General Tso’s Tofu”. This tofu was shriveled up almost beyond recognition, rubbery and coated in a watered-down, super sweet sauce that had zero spice or flavor- despite ordering it medium spicy. The “fried rice” that came with it looked like it had been dyed with yellow food coloring and literally had only onions in it and had no flavor whatsoever… I have never had fried rice SO strange. My daughter ordered chicken fried rice and the same thing with hers- dyed yellow with unseasoned pieces of chicken and no veggies other than a bunch of onions. An 8 year old even refused to eat it. The main dishes had about 4-5 pieces of broccoli in them and the rest was just this rubbery, used-condom textured tofu. Everything was inedible and not worth the calories. When we called to complain and get our money back, my family had to talk to multiple people for well over 30 minutes- only to be told we had to bring our food BACK if we wanted a refund. Bring our food back, a 15 minute drive that I had just made to pick up this horrendous meal, on CHRISTMAS DAY?? The management kept insisting they needed to know “what happened with the food” and no refund unless we brought it back. So not only did they serve us what I can only assume is the WORST Chinese takeout ever and ruin our Christmas dinner, but now we have to take the food back just to get our money back?? Insane! Any restaurant worth anything would’ve apologized and refunded our money no questions asked, especially on a holiday. I have worked in the restaurant industry in the past and never EVER did we ever tell anyone to return the food to get a refund. Since we spent almost $70 on this “food”, we packed it all back up in a garbage bag where it belonged and drove it back to the restaurant on Christmas Day at 7pm so we could get our money back. My mother treated us to the dinner, so she went in to get her money back and they insisted on “seeing the person who left the tip” (I stupidly left a tip assuming the food would be good when I picked it up) and I had to go in so they could see my face in order to refund our $5 tip! They eventually refunded our money (with ZERO APOLOGY), but only after a 30+minute phone call, arguing with multiple people, a totally ruined Christmas Day dinner and an hour of drive time in total, between picking up the food and having to go back to return it like you would a shirt that didn’t fit. I have never experienced such ABHORRENT customer service or Chinese takeout in my life!! This place should be...

HORRIBLE FOOD AND EVEN WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Would give zero stars if I could. Decided to get take out from here for our family Christmas dinner - big mistake. Ordered the general Tso’s tofu, fried rice, and spring rolls. The general tso’s had 5 pieces of broccoli in the whole dish, the rest being the oddest, super rubbery fried tofu I’ve ever had. Sauce was supposed to be medium spice, and was tasteless aside from being sugary and sweet. Fried rice was a weird light yellow with some pieces of onions, nothing else, and didn’t even taste like fried rice…plain, boring, just weird. Spring rolls were like what you’d get frozen at the grocery store and heat up at home. Didn’t taste like what you’d get from a restaurant. We called to get our money back and after talking to multiple people there, every one we spoke to said the only way we could get refunded is to BRING THE FOOD BACK. ON CHRISTMAS DAY. Bad enough this inedible meal was what we ended up with for our Christmas dinner, which was now ruined, but then for them to absolutely insist the only way we get our money back is to bring it back to them??? The restaurant was a 15 min drive away, so no we didn’t feel we should have to be the ones inconvenienced even further, after now not having a Christmas dinner to eat, to get our money back. They kept saying “we need to know what happened to the food.” Any other decent restaurant would apologize to their customer and just refund the money, but we ended up having to literally fight with them on the phone for well over 30 mins and for them to still insist on us bringing the food back, which we did end up having to do, on Christmas, bc no way were they getting our money. Absolutely unbelievable. With as weird as this food was they probably wanted it back to reuse it bc that’s almost how it seemed, like food that’s been crappily made and overcooked and just sitting somewhere under a heat lamp waiting to be scooped out and served. They also fought about refunding the tip that was left - yeah right, like they deserved a tip…especially after this?! But ended up finally refunding that too. Again, ONLY after everything was brought back. And not once was there an “I’m sorry” from...

This place used to be really great. But that was before these newer owners took over. At first the quality of the food was consistent with the old owners and it was good, but lately it just isn't. The food is extremely hit or miss based on what you ordered, and when you ordered. For example tonight we ordered a few different things instead of our regular order. Just for something different you know. The Pork Lo Mein was amazing, nice and flavorful and really worth it, minus some of the pieces of pork that were nothing but grizzle and fat. The Sweet and Sour Chicken was horrendous. The chicken was so dried out and the breading/batter was so oily it was offensive. The Chicken with Broccoli was fair but honestly it could have been better the veggies were mushy and there wasn't much in the container. The combo meal that was ordered by the other person in our party was okay, but again it wasn't stellar. Their change in rice is 100% disappointing, don't call it fried rice when what you present is a mushy white rice textured rice that is just dyed yellow. For what the cost is of these dishes are the quality should really be better. We're looking for a new place to get Chinese food from. So if you want to give it a try it's going to be a 50/50 that you get a meal that is edible and worth the cost. Also I don't recommend eating in, unless it's like a quick lunch, this place isn't set up for eat in dining, not since...
