If sampling the best Northern Indian cuisine is on your palette wheel-well, then Jaipur Junction will tumble your tastebuds into spinning cartwheels!
Located on West Sprague Road in the Timber Ridge Plaza within the heart of North Royalton, we travel a long way to dine at Jaipur Junction, and it’s almost always our go-to for this area. Awesome buffet, excellent food from a full Indian menu, plenty of parking, and usually little to no wait time. The stop is inviting, casual, and gracious. It’s a great dining experience for a date or anniversary or even a quiet evening out with family or friends.
The best appetizers are the Samosas and Picnic Balls that are cooked to perfection with bursting, almost unidentifiable flavors. The Naans and Chips come out deliciously fresh with so many varieties to try. There are many great vegan dishes, like Alu Gobi and Navratan Korma, or vegetarian features, as Mastani Palak and Palak Paneer. Favorite meat entrées include the Tandoori Chicken that falls off the bone, the Dhaba Chicken is also great, but if you want a mouth-watering delight, then try either the Chicken or Lamb Vindaloo over a plate of Saffron Pilav Basmati Rice. The Vindaloos are mildly spicy with a touch of heat, but if you want it explosive, request the chef to make it “Indian Hot”. You better be prepared to cool things off with fresh-cut or puréed desserts of cantaloupe and mangos with yogurt.
Service is always professional and polite. Ice water is a great palette wash, and they know to keep your glasses full. We usually try to hit the lunch buffet, but you can’t go wrong by ordering any dish that fits your tastes straight off the detailed menu. Prices are decent, expect a group of 4, leaving a generous tip, to pay about $45.
It’s such a great atmosphere; you’re sure to enjoy your stop at The...
Read moreFood is great and bursting with flavor if just a bit expensive, but hey that's Indian food for you. However, there are a few issues. The biggest is the staff, while some seem nice most do not seem to speak much English nor know anything about there menu. We asked to order several items more than once and they never showed up. By the end we just gave up and were happy we were not charged for the items which would have resulted in more confusion. Could have just been the day, previously due to covid we would just do take out with them. Ultimately if you like India food it's worth trying.
To the restaurant, I'd recommend investing on some employee tee-shirts. Probably something colorful like the yellow of your takeout menus along with the restaurant name. It would be a cheap way for your staff to look more organized. I would also recommend a new coat of paint in the store, maybe a little work on the light, and some more India themed artwork/decorations. I would also put a little more effort into cleanliness. You guys have a ton of potential to be an amazing restaurant...
Read moreWent to lunch buffet. There were quite many good choices, like samosa as starter, tandoori chicken, butter chicken, mixed lentil dish, chickpea spinach dish, another veggie dish with cauliflower and potatoes, rice, naan, indian crackers, salad (mostly onion), raita, rice pudding, carrot halwa, fruit salad (watermelon and melon).
The restaurant was quite clean, the service was good.
The food selection and the taste was good, but I tasted better versions at other places, and the selections could be better too. For example, there was no lamb or goat dishes. Butter chicken was just good not impressive like other places, tandoori chicken was good, bur the taste of chicken was not flavorful. The salad was 90% onion, where it could be more mixed vegies like lettuce carrots tomato etc.. Raita was excellent, creamy and flavorful with mint. Rice pudding and carrot halwa were great, but I experienced their better versions too.
For $12.95, I cannot complain and for respecting better places, and to indicate they have opportunities to improve, I rate this...
