Domino's Pizza — Restaurant in North Salt Lake

Seriously. I really love Domino's but there is something very wrong with this location, presumably at the store manager level and higher.

I've given this location 6 chances (shame on me). Each and every time there are problems.

-one time I showed up at 6pm and the manager was turning away walk-ins, declining phone orders, and cancelling online orders because the night manager wasn't coming in. I was lucky to be the last order they'd fulfill.

-one time I showed up on time for pickup, waited another 20min more, then they came to me and said they made my pizzas totally wrong, asked if I wanted them done right? Yes. I did. So I waited another 20min.

-last time,

1. I showed up and they were out of salad which I had already paid for in the app. The manager had zero empathy and acted bothered that they even had to refund and recharge me for the adjusted amount.
2. they didn't cut one of the pizzas
3. the pizzas tasted like rancid oil
4. a 60min wait on a Friday evening, sure, I'm okay with that. But even though I showed up like 2 minutes after the tracker said pizzas were finally ready, the pizzas were lukewarm and visually you could tell they had been sitting for at least 20 minutes. Like they had forgotten to update the progress on my order.

-toppings are always sloppy and scarce. Sauce not spread nearly far enough towards the edges. Like the pieces are 50% crust. When they do remember to cut your pizza, the cut job is sloppy so pieces range from tiny to huge.

I could go on and on about the other times and elements they get wrong, but my point is... I love Domino's but don't support this location. I will say, besides the grumpy and careless manager I see almost each time, all of the younger people who work there have been nice and seem like they're trying to do a good job. So from logistical problems to sloppy performance, that's the manager's problem... and the manager above them that isn't aware of, capable of, or cares that this location is very very subpar.

ORDER FROM ANOTHER...

The only reason I gave a star is because I needed to in order to post a review. This location by far is the worst!! Apparently the owner doesn’t know how to keep their items stocked. It’s ridiculous that they sell sandwiches but they NEVER EVER have bread. When they cancel my order they don’t even make an effort to try to make things right all they say is “sorry I can’t make it because we don’t have bread” when ask why they do t keep bread stocked up they say “my boss doesn’t order much because we don’t sell sandwiches much”. Interesting that they don’t sell much yet never have bread you would think if they didn’t sell much they would have some bread in stock right?! Also they always mess up my orders, missing toppings given the wrong pizza and let’s not for get if u request delivery their driver one in particular called me twice to ask me for tip. After I told him my brother is home and would tip you driver was upset and throw my pizza on my porch table and wings along with napkins and extras landed on the floor and didn’t bother to pick them up. Driver drives a white VW and everything was caught on my cameras. I’m sick and tired of the constant disappointments. So do yourself a favor and avoid this location at all costs save your money and avoid...

I usually love Dominos, and moved near this one about two months ago, and am just so disappointed in nearly every aspect of this place. They frequently go into periods where they don’t answer calls or accept orders for hours within the usual business day, well within normal business hours, usually about three or four times a week. Every pizza we’ve received has been undercooked, toppings are hit or miss if they actually put them on, and overall it’s just beyond disappointing as we used to frequently order Dominos where we used to live, and the Dominos in the surrounding locations around here aren’t bad. I don’t really understand how this one in particular can perform so poorly repeatedly, as we’ve tried numerous times to see if they were just having an off day or not.

The only nice thing I can say about this place is the delivery drivers are nice and very fast. I hope they can find another franchise or local place to deliver for. Unfortunately, good delivery drivers can’t make up for the poor job of their management and other coworkers
