Subway — Restaurant in North Salt Lake

This is the closest Subway to us and we normally love it. Today I showed up at 7:20 AM To buy multiple sandwiches for a big trip.the students and teachers at a near by school were going on. I walked in and wasn't greeted as the young man behind the register seemed to be busy opening up still. I patiently waited until I noticed none of the food was out yet. After about 5 minutes the employee said "it's going to be a while" and went back to whatever he was doing. He had his hood on and seemed to be avoiding eye contact. I was just a bit bothered be never apologized or asked what I even needed. What if all I needed was a drink? I can see 5 or 10 minutes after opening still getting things together but almost 30? Anyways it was a huge inconvenience for the Mom's who had to get other food for the school kids since no other sandwich places open that early. A...

I really appreciated the two girls who helped me when I came in and ordered 6 sandwiches. They both were very patient with me while I read what each sandwich needed to have on it. The girls names were Maddy and Sarah. I was a bit annoyed with a couple of customers who were very rude and demanding. One of the customers spoke so harshly to one of the girls that I spoke up and told him that even if he was having a bad day it didn't mean he should take it out on somebody else. It was lunch time and of course it was busy. I've been there on other days when there were different employees and the other employees were not as friendly. But Sarah and Maddy were very friendly...

The subway app sucks. I ordered food online and tried to call the store because the store was 20 minutes away. I wanted to cancel. I called 16 times within the hour and no answer. Finally on my 17th try they answered. The employee proceeded to tell me that they can't cancel my order. So when I was able to pick it up I went and as I got there they told me they canceled it. I was annoyed because they said they can't. I give them a 1 star for this. However the manager is a nice guy and gave us the sandwiches. So I am giving them a 2 for that. Just the inconvenience of the app vs location made this a difficult purchase. I will not be using...
