Z Brothers Pizza — Restaurant in North Salt Lake

Fantastic dishes! I've only been twice now but both menu selections were phenomenal! I don't usually get calzones because of bad experiences but this one is a must, the dough is this awesome thin crispy shell on the surface that as soon as your teeth break through it and hit the soft dough underneath, it starts to melt. Oh damn! The second visit I made I very bravely chose the cheese steak with fries. Now I don't usually try a cheese steak at most places and definitely not at a pizza parlor but I thought what the heck and proceeded to throw caution to the wind and while I can honestly tell you it most certainly is not a cheese steak at all or by any stretch of the imagination, it is however an amazing sandwich. Now I know by now your thinking ok you are on a roll but how did the fries taste? Perfectly fried steak fry, seasoned to perfection. My apologize if you think I'm an employee trying to get some kind of incentive from my employer,or even the owner myself but I a sure you I am not. I'm just humble, local fleet manager for a lawn care and pest control company that's located in the area, oh and my other qualification........... I'm over...

The food is pretty good, the service is terrible. It's always terrible when I go there. I am very disappointed and I wont go again. Once you sit down they give you your drinks and stand impatiently waiting for you to tell them what you want to eat or you have to track someone down just to order. I had one girl hit her pen impatiently on her pad of paper waiting, she had given me the menu 2 minutes before, no time to look at the menu. Everytime I've gone they take your food order and you only see them when they drop off your food. If you need silverware or napkins you are on your own. If you ask them for silverware or extra napkins (I have a 2 yr old, kids make messes, I try to prevent the messes) you get eye rolling and "sure" with a 50% chance they "remember " to bring it back to you. We drove all day from out-of-state and wanted something close by. This worked, kind of in an industrial-feel area (not familiar with SLC yet), had young men running it, and it was smooth sailing for us! I had a personal veggie pizza and a salad. The salad came first, was exactly as promised, and a nice size. Pizza came toward the end of my salad and was the perfect size. Great crust, just the right amount of sauce and veggies, was delish! My husband had the special, a Philly Cheesesteak sand with ff and drink, at a budget-friendly price. We were the only ones eating in their dining area, which was a pretty nice space, spacious and clean, with tvs set to sporting events. Definitely recommend...
