I wanted to love this place, the reviews for the most part were positive. Usually family owned small restaurants are the best. Ordered takeout over the phone my order was ready when they said. Ordered pepper beef, chicken lo-mein and egg rolls. The biggest issue there was close to no protein in any of the dishes. The Pepper beef was about 75 % onions, 15% bell pepper and maybe 10%beef, literally 6 small pieces of meat in the entire container. The sauce was tasty, well seasoned not gloppy or greasy but there was literally almost no beef in the pepper beef. Same story with the chicken lo-mein a couple of sad small pieces of chicken and the noodles looked like the cook went full ninja, every noodle had been chopped in about 1/4 " pieces like they had been through a meat grinder. Also the lo-mein was dry and tasteless. The egg rolls were cold and soggy they had obviously been precooked and sitting in a warming table, their filling was all cabbage and had no seasoning. Tossed about 1/3 of the food in the trash. We won't...
Read moreLet's start with the phone call: Their phone rang forever, then was spoken to impatiently when ordering. The prices from their website don't match what they said on the phone.
Onto picking the food up: After getting there, I was told the food wasn't ready and waited an additional 15 minutes beyond the original estimate. Then, when paying, it's cost more yet...
During the meal: The sesame chicken was over-breaded and soggy, the egg rolls were packed with cabbage (little to no pork), and their lo mein tasted like it came from a can.
After the meal: my entire family, who ate their food, got violently ill.
Requesting a refund: After returning most of what was ordered, the man I spoke to was not only rude and uncooperative, but he was unapologetic.
I can't say it more emphatically - this establishment is subpar with unprofessional management and foodborne...
Read moreFirst time trying out this place. Normally I don't give one star, but was very disappointed and normally I'm not to hard to please.
Appetizers: -Cream cheese wonton (4) not much cheese in them but they were ok. -Egg Rolls (2) almost 4 bucks a piece and probably the worse egg rolls I've had. So sorry, but it was literally all lettuce, and no flavor and dry. Not worth the price. Very very disappointed.
Entrees: Sesame chicken was good, cooked and flavorful, so I was happy about that and the only thing we enjoyed. Beef Lo Mein, beef was decent and had some flavor, the overall flavor was dull though. Noodles were ok and cooked well. But they only had the meat on the top layer (1 small scoop). After that it was just noodles. So definitely felt ripped off, barely any meat.
Price not worth the taste. Won't be retuning. Very disappointed with the quality and pricing of the food. Staff were nice but wasn't...
