Ice cream & candy shop, — Restaurant in North Topsail Beach

Tried taking my kids there, one who has bad food allergies. Every other ice cream place we have been to always bends over backwards to show us ingredients, get a new scoop, and usually even a new tub of the ice cream. Asked the incompetent teenage girls to look at the ingredients, all they told us was the names listed on the windows is what is in the ice cream. Refused to show us anything else or help to eliminate cross contamination. Either get employed who care about their customers, or train the ones you have. Overall the store and bathrooms were dirty and not a vacation friendly place we would recommend. Left with a crying 8 year old who didn’t understand why no one that worked there was willing to work with his food allergies. Went down the street to McDonald’s to get him...
