The Post Bar & Lounge — Restaurant in North Topsail Beach

Posting this now on 01/20/2023. Went into the bar multiple times during my time here on the coast. I'm a native of NC and love to support local businesses. Walked in with a buddy and some friends. Got refused service for the whole group because my friend was "wobbly" even though no one else was? I asked my friend if he wanted a drink and he refused thus leading to the interaction with the bartender. Never coming here again. There are plenty of friendlier places to sing karaoke and drink. I understand being a responsible bartender but this is an entire new level of ridiculous enforcement and feels personal. Completely unjustified...

went in on a Friday afternoon, dead as a doornail, looking for ginger beer; not only did the bartender NOT give me ginger beer, she didn’t ID me for an alcoholic canned beverage. said bartender bagged some Moscow mule canned alcoholic drinks, asked for a $20 (wouldn’t allow me to read the can without paying) & sent me on my way. kinda crazy that I could’ve been a 19 year old kid getting ginger beer for a parent or sibling & the bartender just handed me alcohol no questions...

We had friends visiting from SC (we live in Jacksonville).
