First of all, we order a pizza from this place it’s our first time ordering here the customer service was cool in the store. We asked did they have honey barbecue sauce they say yes they have barbecue sauce which we later found out is just some makeshift version of open pit. I contact the store and I say hey we got a pizza, but the ingredients are literally off of the pizza because it was so soupy, I asked could the pizza be replaced or could we have a refund the store manager told me she needed to contact the store owner. Shortly after, the store owner contacted me and said we don’t give refunds or exchanges just because you don’t “like” the pizza then she proceeded to ask me did I get my nails done at her friend’s shop which I don’t even understand why that came up but she bought it up anyway saying “yea you got your nails done at Lyn’s” or some name. I said no what does that have to do with the pizza? and then she was just very condescending and rude and I told her it’s not because I don’t like the pizza. It’s because the pizza is not edible. The ingredients literally, slid off of the pizza and the bag ripped because it is do soupy and she said I’m not gonna argue with you and hung up in my face. I would never go back to this place again. Update Yall just make assumptions and dont take accountability. I dont need nor want anything from your slime ball business for “free”. I did not get my nails done at that pathetic shop next door and I never would. Have you seen their work on Google?! I’m sure you have. I went to Sonny’s in Munster. Not sure why you assume I did or that I dropped the pizza but maybe it’s just because you’re an a** which you are. You obviously need the $14 more than I do. My son eats pizza once a week it is his favorite thing. The pizza yall made was trash and if it takes $14 to never deal with yall again I’d say we got the better deal. In fact I tipped so it was more than $14 but here’s a tip do better. Bank transactions included for proof because you continue to lie. *****I see the owner has since deleted her comment because I added my bank statements as proof of her lying. Further reason why I caution buyer beware.******

To start, I love Barton's, been going to the one on Calumet for over 30 years. I ordered from the Highland location since I live in Highland now. I ordered a sausage and and cheese, extra well done (I once had a severe case of food poisoning years ago so I try to make sure my food is thoroughly cooked)... Got my pizza home and it was baked like any other pizza, I called to discuss this with the woman that answered, I mentioned that I like my pizza very brown, just short of burning it, she was nice and asked if I could send her a picture of it to discuss this with her oven guy of 30 years. I sent her a picture cause she said she would call back, she never did. I told her that I love their pizza but now I can never order from them again.....

First time trying Barton’s. Service on the phone was great. Ordered the double Neapolitan with the crumble sausage. Plus an order of tomato bread. Definitely a steep above most chain pizza places. The pizza was on the salty side for me. Parts of the crust were doughier than I liked. Maybe I should order it well done next time? The tomato bread was good, but not excellent. Again, not cooked long enough for me. All in all it was good, not excellent. But the price was affordable and service was great.

Good food, terrible service and owners! The ‘assistant manager’ is incredibly unprofessional. She cancelled an online order due to her personal feelings about a customer, and then spoke to that customers in a disrespectful and unacceptable way when they tried to phone their order in, literally telling the customer to ‘never call here again, never come here and f-off’. That is a CUSTOMER for your business. A customer that is supporting your livelihood. It is NEVER ok for you to speak to a customer that way. You are a representative of the business that employs you while you are clocked in!!! You either need to learn about in customer service, or find another line of work. The owner places no value on their customers, and allows this behavior. Sad because the food is good, but customer service is EVERYTHING these days, and both the owner and rude ‘assistant manager’ don’t seem to understand that. If that is how you allow your employees to speak to customers I will take my...

Cool things-Barton's offer's 4 different types of crust, and I find that super accomodating. The styles offered are Hand-Tossed, Thin Crust, and Double Dough and cauliflower crust. If you don’t specify a type of crust, you get the Hand-tossed. It is really enjoyable and not overwelming, I’ve also ordered the thin and double on other occasions and all were really good.

The sausage, they offer in Chunks or Ground. I usually prefer chunk but i'm glad i didnt' specify my first time ordering, because their go-to is the ground so thats what we received and MAN it was legit! i'm usually not a fan but it complimented the sauce and everything so well, it definitely was meant to be.

We also ordered the fried pickles which i don't eat, but my bf was super jazzed that they were spears instead of the expected chips. He said they were great.

Definitely somewhere I’ll order...
