Fuerte Restaurant & Ice cream — Restaurant in North Township

We would frequent this place but then realized that every single time we went back, their prices were being raise in big jumps. In a couple of months, it turned into multiple dollars more per product. Today, we got 2 drinks and 2 elotes in a cup and paid $20. And they don’t even layer the corn properly. By the time ur half way thru, it’s just bland and no cheese is left. That’s unacceptable given what they’re charging so they’re canceled in our book. Not to mention they gave me store bought crunchy taco shells when I ordered crunchy tacos one time. Then barely any meat in them. If yall aren’t freshly frying your regular soft tortillas when people ask for crunchy, just stop.. cuz those were the worst tacos I’ve ever had. And I’m also sad and sorry to say that their salsas are waaaay too spicy and extremely bland. Everything is super inconsistent as well. If I could give this restaurant Z roll stars I would do not come to this restaurant at all. I ordered food. The beef tacos were very, very nasty. They taste like like I can’t even really explain it. It just kind of taste like beef with like some dust on it or something, I don’t know but it was disgustingly nasty. I went in. I asked for a refund they said no I asked exchange the food. They said no so I’m just out of the money I wasn’t rude that wasn’t disrespectful or anything like that and of course they give me the line will the manager is just gonna sell you the same thing I did like I work in retail. So the food here is really good. It’s was great when it was cheap and still great now that there’s a price hike. So the quality hasn’t changed. The price has tho which is irritating in itself. But whatever, you can’t get anything cheap anymore. But it’s such an insult to injury when not only is there a price hike, but you’re gonna charge 4% to use a card then ask for a tip? Why not just murder me instead?

Moral of the story. I’m tired of just giving my money out like that. Nickel here, dollar there. Like, it makes me not wanna come here all together. Maybe one day everyone will follow suit and let these businesses hemorrhage. Like did you give your employees a raise at least?...
