Worth the read! I’ve patronized this location/business for years since moving to the area. I’ve never had an issue and sadly just had to remove a 5 star rating I’d previously given back when the leadership and night crew were flawless, quick, and friendly. Tonight, I received the worst service from a MANAGER ON DUTY while attempting to resolve what should have been a quick issue. Every McDonald’s employee knows with the app as of late the promo has been free fries on Friday with minimal $1 purchase. I pulled my app up as I sat in line, and even had the code ready as I approached the window to try and make this process as smooth as possible for both myself and the employees. As a big box retail operations manager, I understand the importance of speed and customer experience. I ordered the food and provided the code the app randomized for me. The auto prompt didn’t accept the code and passed me on to an associate to assist. There were no pleasantries or compassion or grace besides the automated prompt who assist you upon arrival. I won’t even speak on the first person because at the very least she tried to offer some sort of resolve, be it the wrong instruction, I’ll appreciate an attempt versus nothing. I told her the app didn’t generate a new code and her instruction was to close the app and see if I could get another code. Of course, because the code was already redeemed, the app told me I had to wait 14 minutes. I repeated this to the associate and inquired what now? As I was following their instruction and now sat unable to get a new code as the app registered this code already used. No one spoke for about 30 seconds to a minute, so I said hello a few times to ensure I was still being serviced. However, I was appalled at who I spoke with next. When her incompetent ignorant rude and utterly purposelessly abrasive MANAGER came over the speaker and cut her off, I’d had enough! She started off with a nasty attitude and no initiation or concern for resolving an issue. Instead she stated to me “well, we don’t have anything to do with the app. The code didn’t work.” as if to say “oh well do you want this food or not”. So I stated I never placed responsibility for the app on the store, I understand they don’t control it, but wondered if a manager could step in to assist. She again rudely cut me off and stated I AM THE MANAGER ON DUTY. I said and why are you yelling? I’m trying to resolve an issue and wanted assistance. She kept talking, not even listening to me. Needless to say, the coupon was for $2.99. I just got off work, waited in line, and then was met with nasty attitude for no reason at all. I’ve previously had app issues and for customer appeasement, guess what? The manager took the coupon off anyway! She didn’t offer anything but that there was something going on with the app, they didn’t control the app, and there was nothing they could do about it. I’m quite sure in the 3+ years I’ve lived here, that I’ve spent upwards of two or three hundred dollars at this location for myself and my family. So to have been blown off for $2.99 with 0 leadership stepping in to resolve, I’m disgusted! I left and didn’t buy anything and took my money to the business across the street. I’ll be going the extra mile for McDonald’s if I want it at night, as this night crew has considerably fallen off! I miss the male manager and the employees who worked the window before. They were pleasant, remembered who you were, and ensured quality food and quality service. The store manager needs to do some reevaluating the night crew as I can see I’m not the only person as of late with a service issue! Again as an operations manager I’m never maliciously causing any disarray or problems. I actually go out and scout and leave positive reviews because I understand what that can do for your business. Read moreVery rude manager didn't want to understand my point of view. Why the drive thru customers are taken care 1st instead of the customers inside the restaurant. I took my mom for breakfast and waited for 15 minutes after i placed my order and watched everyone around us inside the restaurant getting their meals and the drive thru getting their food. My mom worked at the same McDonald's for 15yrs and this how they treat her. After i got my refund for waiting 15 minutes the manager told me to leave her kids alone (employees). I was just asking the employees why the customers inside have to wait longer than the drive thru customers. And your manager continue to argue instead of explaining why my order took so long. Eventually i got my refund and the manager told me now that i got my refund i can get out. The manager needs retraining in customer service and anger management classes as well.
