I found out about this place from a back to school event so I decided to try to go and support local black businesses BUT I should have stuck to what I know (kids footlocker, Nike.com). The Jordan’s I wanted to purchase was $25 more expensive than anywhere else. A lot of their item seems to be over priced I also purchased a bottle of perfume after being pushed into it by my sales associate where he acted as if he gave me a discount but really didn’t. Once I decided I didn’t need the perfume I look on the receipt to see about a return policy.. nothing and there was no signs in store to say they don’t accepts refunds/ exchange only So I looked on the website that states that there is a return policy and I was able to receive one but the GM claimed they don’t do refunds even after showing him what they website say he still refused. Very shady business. Money wasted but that’s what I get for trying to support black business. DONT GO THERE GO SOMEWHERE ELSE AND GET YOUR...

Best shoe store located in East Chicago. School shopping with a teenager turned out to be one of the best experiences Thanks to Nick. As we walked in Nick greeted myself and four giggly girls with great customer service. Usually when sales associates see women with children they aren’t as attentive like Nick was. Nick asked my daughter what was her style and price range and he went in the back came out with 8 different boxes to let her try them on. This had taken all of us by surprise we had never experienced such great customer service in a shoe store. After trying on several shoes the teenager made up her mind and we left with a great customer service experience. Also, the cashier was very nice with a beautiful smile. I love shopping here ever since they opened. It's my go to store when ever I need some new shoes and clothes. Today I went in with my 15 year old son, Cam and Nick were so helpful and attentive to what my son wanted to get from head to toe. They made him feel so comfortable and I just love that for him.
