I am taking the time to submit a complaint against Popeye’s Store location #2566. I submitted an online order for pick up (#63) on November 21st at 6:20 pm. I arrived at the store location’s to pick up my order at 6:57pm. At that time, my order was not ready even though the order had a order pick up time earlier than my arrival. The Popeye’s drive-thru employee told me to pull back around to the drive thru and wait while they make my order. I had to wait behind four cars while they ordered and received their food before me. When I finally arrived back to the drive thru window at 7:20 p, I received my order minus the Cajun Fries. I asked the employee, “What is the purpose of someone submitting an order online and indicating their desired pick up time, if they will have to wait in line to receive their order after everyone else? She indicated, “That sometimes they don’t receive the order until 10 minutes after the order has been placed.” I informed her that I placed my order an hour prior and the order had ample time to come thru. She continued with further excuses. Until finally I asked her if she was the manager on duty, she indicated yes! I said, “ instead of offering me excuses, you first should have offered an apology for my wait. That is what an effective manager would have done.” She then began to shove the order through the drive thru window as to end the conversation again without an apology or consideration for my time or what I was saying. I Immediately said that I would not take the food if she would continue to provide rude customer service. She then pulled the food back through the drive thru window and closed the window in my face and walked off in frustration. Another Popeye’s employee came to the window to continue assisting me. I asked for the shift manager’s and store manager’s name. I was informed that the shift manager’s name is Kayla and Store Manager name is Jackie. In all, I was late from returning from my lunch break; I received a rude and unwelcoming customer service; and my...
Read moreBeen a Popeyes customer for years, but this might have put an end to that. WORST RESTAURANT EXPERIENCE EVER! I placed an online order and selected "drive thru" as the pickup option. Drove there and waited in the drive thru line for a while, it was Christmas Eve, so I knew they'd be busy. When I got up to the speaker & gave them the order info, I was told "It's a 10 minute wait for the spicy chicken, so park and come in". I waited about 10 minutes then went inside to wait with the other customers. After 20 minutes of waiting inside, I asked the cashier (who was pleasant & trying to help) what was going on with the order. She went behind the prep counter and had to search for the order, packaged some of it, put it on the warming rack and announced it to the other workers that were supposedly preparing orders. After another 20+ minutes, and watching numerous customers, who came in & ordered after me, walk out with their large orders, I was now irritated and again asked about my order. One of the employees who was prepping orders started hollering at me that it was Christmas Eve and online orders have to wait differently than drive thru or in store orders (what's the point of offering online ordering?) Eventually, after being in the store waiting for over 45 minutes, the cashier went back to package my order, but now they didn't have any spicy chicken, so she could give me mild. I agreed just to finally leave. Also, two of the order prep workers don't like or understand how face masks work, as they were wearing them as chin covers, not covering their nose or mouth. I cannot express how rotten this experience was, and recommend anyone to find a different Popeyes or try KFC...
Read moreI had an online order and still had to wait. I was met with rudeness and when I asked for the worker’s name, he was argumentative and shut the window in my face. I made a complaint online and went home. I got home to find a long blonde strand of hair (the hair had clothing fabric wrapped in it and the hair follicle was attached meaning it came straight from the root) inside of my chicken. I went back to the restaurant and called the entire way there but they never answer the phone. When I got there the line was around the building and the dining room was closed. The young lady at the window was happy to remake my order, I explained to her what happened and only wanted what was in the box to be remade, not the whole order. The cook (the man who was rude the first time) came at the window and told me he would just refund me since he didn’t want to deal with me. When he realized he couldn’t refund the mobile order, he confronted me saying that it wasn’t anybody’s hair in the restaurant. I told him that I’m not blaming anybody, I just know it wasn’t mine and want those TWO pieces of chicken remade. He told me I needed to park and that Im holding up his line when I said I couldn’t move since the cars were so tightly packed in line. He continued to be loud and wouldn’t let me speak so now I get angry. He said he wasn’t going to serve me, I couldn’t get a refund and he called the police on me. The service is ALWAYS terrible and I’ve learned the hard way not to keep giving them chances to be rude especially when they can barely make the food right. I will never spend money here again. (The picture shows a blonde piece of hair, not the...
