White Castle — Restaurant in North Township

Stopped in while driving through Indiana because we don't have White Castle in our state, and we happened to drive past this one right about dinner time. The young man taking our order was really nice and helpful. I didn't catch his name but the receipt said employee #6566 if that helps. He was a little mumbly but I think it's because he was wearing a mask. They all were.

The 1921 sliders were definitely better fresh than the ones microwaved from Walmart. Some of the fries were perfect and some were too floppy. The mozzarella sticks and marinara were good. The chocolate shake was pretty good and they made it pretty quick.

The bathroom was old and dingy like it needs more help than a cleaning can give it. The restaurant floors were sticky but I don't know how much of that was a side effect of the newly resurfaced parking lot and people tracking in tar on their shoes. The tables and chairs were fine and the bathroom wasn't trashed so they must be cleaning regularly.

Overall 4 stars. We were able to get the whole family fed and back on the road at a reasonable cost and...

Gas station WC's are better than this place. I have been to this location 50 times in 20 years and it never gets any better. The lobby is always filthy. The floor is always sticky. The soda machine never has Coke or most other things, other than diet. The napkin dispenser is always empty. There is never salt or pepper packs in the thing that is supposed to hold packs of salt and pepper. They will absolutely never put the burgers in the steamer before they serve them. You will never get hot fries. I only go inside to order food because the drive thru is insanely slow. No one and I mean absolutely no one at this location cares about quality or anything else. If you made it this far, you are probably asking why I even go back. I go once or twice a year at best and I hope that they might get it figured out..but they never do. Today was probably my last time ever going again. It would be nice if I could say that they at least have clean bathrooms, but I have never been in one because the lobby is so filthy..There is no way that the...

We got there and 1st there's a nice little wait time. But wen i got 2 the window, the dude in the drive thru window was very short with me , then he shoved the food 2 me out the window and slammed the window shut in my facecas i was asking if he put zesty sauce in 4 my onion rings. I then proceeded 2 sit there with him sitting just on the other side of the window. Unshaved , looking very rag-tag , i looked past that trying 2 get his attention by waving. He finally acknowledged me, and threw 1 little sauce out the window at me and slammed the window again. Sp being angered by his actions , i pull around 2 go inside and wen i do... more ignorance is thrown my way from another worker. Stating " ill get 2 u wen i can" but very nastily !!!! Everbody in there on that shift shud b fired !!!!! Ignorance is rampid and is only gonna get worst with that shift of workers !!! Definitely wont eat...
