Jolly Roger's Diner — Restaurant in Northborough

We were hopeful this restaurant would be a good experience, but we were let down almost immediately. We started by ordering two orange juices, and while the waitress said she’d be right back, she completely forgot about them. It took about 10 minutes just to get our drinks.

After that, we placed our food order—and waited nearly an hour with nothing brought to our table. We noticed several tables that arrived after us were served much sooner. The table directly next to us, which had also arrived later, was brought what turned out to be our food. The couple took a bite of the omelet before realizing it wasn’t their order.

Shockingly, the waitress then tried to serve us that same omelet—after another table had already eaten from it. We asked for a fresh replacement, but to be honest, it seemed like they just tossed another egg on top of the same plate and rushed it back out.

The food itself was average at best, but the service was truly terrible. When we were ready to leave, it took another 10 minutes just to get the check—only to be told it wasn’t even our bill, as it had been mixed up with the other table’s. We tried to pay right away, but the waitress walked off, leaving us sitting there for another 15 minutes. Eventually, we just went to the front counter to settle up and leave.

Was nearby and needed breakfast for ky son between hockey games. Found this diner and seemed like a homerun upon arrival. My son got the meal he ordered and was very happy. I ordered the $16 corned beef hash omelet (doesn't come with side potatoes) and a $4 side of potatoes, so a $20 meal plus a $3.25 cup of coffee.

My 3 eggs omelet came out and was very flat, so I cut it open to find 3 layers of eggs and maybe 2 teaspoons of corned beef hash which included the string potatoes within the hash. There was less corned beef than a 1/2 slice of bacon. I pointed it out to the waitress and asked for a portion of hash ($10menu item) as $16 for a cheese omelet was not sufficient. We had a couple close by compliment me for the learning experience I showed my son, about speaking up if you don't get what you pay for. I waited for more food to be delivered and didn't take a bite of what I had received. It never came, they decided to not feed me, take the food and remove the item from the bill. Waitress walked over to the trash and dumped it. So I had a $3.25 cup of coffee and left hungry. Can't fathom why they didn't just add the corned beef hash to the corned beef hash omelet I ordered. Have never had something like that happen at a restaurant. Word of advice, don't pay $16 for a 3 eggs cheese omelet...

Came in for a nice weekend breakfast and was met with terrible service, just about completely ignored no check-ins while dining. We had ordered sides that never showed up after multiple reminders, had to flag down servers every time because they would not check in on the table at all. They seem to be known more for their pancakes and focus more on those than the other dishes. Pancakes come out massive while other items are way smaller than what you are paying. I would recommend not to come here if you want proper diner service because it wasn't here. I love to go to little local spots but have never been met with such a terrible experience like this before. We were both very put off for the day by this...
