Review #2 My wife and I went to the beer garden last night of which I was reluctant due to our past experience at Reunion. We waited 40 min for our food, of which I ended up going over to the restaurant to retrieve myself even though it was supposed to be brought out to us. The was no hostess, I was greeted by the bartender with an attitude and then after a few minutes a young man brought our food to me. Then the food was just bad, fried mozz app was soggy, my medium burger was well done and burnt on the edges. And my wife's chicken sandwich was swimming in the aioli sauce, there was enough aioli for 3 sandwiches. Revival.... Reunion... Whatever they want to call this place it doesn't matter! Under staffed, poor attitude's, terrible service, and poor food both times we have tried this place. The owner should be ashamed and we will never dine there again! Review #1 Excitement lead to disappointment. Wait staff was nice, but that's really the only positive I can say. Our appetizers were sub par, especially the bruschetta of which the bread was over toasted and the salmon spread was too cold, which made it hard to even put it on the toast. My burger was average, I had much better at lesser establishments. My wife's Ruben was also average, and we both got the rosemary parmesan fries which had no flavor and seemed like something from the frozen dpt. at the supper market. Overall we will not return and I highly suggest the owners obtain better recipes or drastically lower the prices because the quality but really the taste of the food does not match the prices being charged, not even in the current world with all...
Read moreRisky for allergies. We ordered online and specifically listed an egg allergy. When we got the food home it had mayonnaise on the burger and some if the fries. Mistakes happen. When I called about it they didn't know the ingredients, sometimes normal for the host to not know these details so again, not a big deal. The music was too loud for them to hear me on the phone but I heard the host ask another person and they also don't know so suggested to ask Sean. The owner, Sean, got on the phone and confirmed it was mayo with eggs, and could remake it. I noticed the bun was shiny and asked if he could check that for eggs as well and he said it comes from a local bakery and they didn't have an ingredient list. He offered a gluten free bun which he thought probably didn't have eggs. He seemed annoyed when I said you can't really take chances with an allergy. He offered us a gift card since we apparently didn't trust them to make the food right. They did remake the burger without a bun, and fries.
I understand allergies are hard to work with in the food industry, but the lackadaisical attitude from the owner was not appreciated. Not even an apology for the mistake. The food is good, but it's too risky if you...
Read moreWent with my wife. Not too crowded as we were probably just ahead of the dinner crowd. Took a few minutes to be seated while we waited for the host to get silverware and napkins together (why he didn't put them together while no one was there, I don't know). We got seated near two others that appeared to arrive several minutes prior. We waited several minutes for someone to tell us it'd be a few. Both tables could've used water but our waitress was very busy. We couldn't understand why the host didn't get both tables some water, as he was just standing there looking at his phone. One waitress for all the tables was poor planning. Our waitress was very friendly and tried really hard to keep up. Appetizer and meals were excellent. Overall we will go back because the food was so good and our waitress was so good also. Two guys brought food out, but only one waitress to get drinks and orders and such for all the tables. Just hope they can fix...
