I ordered a pizza to my apartment complex that I’ve had dozens of pizzas delivered to and I set my phone down for a while. After a bit of time past my pizza hadn’t been delivered so I pick up my phone and notice some misses calls from what I assume is the delivery driver. I call the number back and no answer. I call the store and the “manager” picks up the phone and tells me since I didn’t answer the phone that I don’t get my pizza. I would have never expected a driver to not be able to find my place because like I said I have had dozens of pizzas delivered to this address. He tells me that I should have answered the phone and that he is canceling my order and hangs up on me. He also lied to me in some kind of attempt to make it my fault by telling me my address was entered wrong. Which it was not because I checked the confirmation email right after he told me that. I drove to the store to get my pizza and the guy refused to give me my pizza because he canceled the order and would not let me order another. The guy argues with me for about 5 minutes until he finally agrees to make a pizza and I ended up paying more than I would have if I wanted to do store pick up. (I normally do the 7.99 carry out deal if I pick up) The guy was extremely rude and probably single handed the worst display of customer service I’ve ever been apart of. I would have been perfectly fine with him telling me yes we couldn’t get in contact with you and couldn’t find your address but we can get a pizza on the next truck that leaves and it can be there whenever it gets there. That would have been 100% fine and really all I was looking to happen when I called but this employee made it way harder on everyone than it needed to be. I will never be back...
Read moreOur orders consistently arrive wrong. When we asked for a remake it usually takes 2-3 times longer to get it, causing us to start asking for and receiving a credit to be used later at our. Yet when we try to redeem said credit, Domino's will say it doesn't exist, that they have no record of it. This is from the manager. Has anyone else had this experience? This store is the absolute worst! Domino's Pizza has really gone downhill. Note to everyone - you must ask for half off or replacement or free order. Even though it's clearly their fault and you would think they would just offer being in this business, they don't. You should also always ask the manager and make sure you get whomever you speak with to give you his or her name. THE ONLY TIME THEY OFFERED TO GIVE US A FULL CREDIT (actually I think it was even more than our order) was when PIZZA ARRIVED CONTAINING A METAL FOREIGN OBJECT. Even then, the manager didn't want to believe us, insisting we send a photo of the object. We order from here all the time, which is one reason we've had so many problems; the main reason is that the store doesn't care about customers and expects that most people won't call back to complain. We continue to order because Domino's is one of four places that deliver to us as we are right on the cut off of most delivery...
Read moreI’ve ordered from them for decades. My opinion of the experience has declined considerably since phone ordering has been outsourced. When they figure out it’s causing a decline in business I hope they’ll let us all know when they go back to doing it the right way so I can start ordering again. Overseas call centers reading scripts with no local knowledge or decision making authority do not equate to good customer service. I’ve now canceled orders twice out of frustration dealing with them.
Food here is usually very good as are the local employees.
Update: I didnt see the owners response to my review for some time, but I appreciate it. The world has changed anbd it's just tough for restaurants to hire today. I understand that. So my response is thanks for doing what you can. I've gotten in the habit of ordering online. I'm still going to avoid the call center. Thanks for being a great part of our business community and caring...
