Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Northville Charter Township

I got my first banana split blizzard at a Dairy Queen years ago and have always loved them. So after this new location opened up, I decided to give them a try and get a banana split blizzard. I had also read the prior reviews about how their blizzards were somewhat lacking in ingredients and was somewhat surprised by that since I felt their blizzards were always so good. So when I got my blizzard I was quite surprised as to how much I agreed with the other negative posts. I noticed that my blizzard had hardly any banana or strawberry or pineapple in it and how much it just tasted like a thicker milk shake. While I was somewhat disappointed with my banana split blizzard, I will give their other items on the menu a try as I've heard good things about them. But in the future I will be going to their competition down the road (Top Of The Cone) if I want a banana split blizzard that actually has a decent amount of bananas, strawberries and pineapple...

I hate writing bad reviews but this location is absolutely HORRIBLE. My wife and I have been here a few times, I think they have gotten our order wrong more times than they have gotten it right. It's hard to get anyone's attention to make it right so most times we have just eaten or tossed our incorrect orders. I decided to try this DQ again today, ordered a simple dipped cone and there was a 10 minute wait, all while 4 employees stood around doing nothing. Then another customer noted they had been waiting 30 minutes for a cone that was part of their meal, the employees did not seem to care at all.

I like DQ and their ice cream but will no longer visit this location, it's for sure the worst in Southeast MI. There are better options...

WOW, first time there and WOW! Beautiful modern building large parking lot walked in and WOW nice and bright and clean, nice menu obove the cashier with pictures of their burgers with prices and other food you can order but I was there for a hot fudge sunday and it was delicious 😋 the seating area has lots of tables and large windows to look out I was impressed! DQ also has a large freezer with lots of cakes and ice cream you can purchase for parties or family and they looked delicious 😋 I would recommend stopping in or going through the drive-thru. So get out of the house and take the kids and support your local DQ and other businesses in your neighborhood. Oh yes, I will be going back to try other things...
